As if we wanted to emulate the weekend's dross and get down to their level. And much of that is down to our regulars who hardly ever showed up, be it Lundstram or Tavernier, who looked quite disinterested. Play like that next week and we'll get horsed. Bright notes: Ridvan did well enough, but wasn't picked out often enough. With the World Cup break coming up I'm starting to think we need to admit this isn't working and make the change sooner rather than later so whoever comes-in has time to work with the players and hopefully do a bit of dealing during the window. Far too many people ( to alter a Gerrard quote ) are going through games doing crazy little jogs. Zero passion or drive in our play, no rhythm or shape. Total second gear pish week in week out.
