For me, by far the brightest highlight of the game was seeing Iannis Hagi back on the pitch and looking like he's lost none of his ability. He's the best addition we could have hoped for in this transfer window.

Agreed.

The inevitable win but performance still lacking.

A lot of enthusiasm without cohesion from individuals who were understandably rusty or not sure where others were going to be.

The ballers, Tillman and Cantwell seemed more interested in effort than doing what we need them to.

Tillman was excellent at winning the ball back from the opposition. Cantwell needs minutes but can't help think Lowry could be doing the same.

The fiesta moves on. Hearts in Edinburgh will be an interesting test.

As a front 4 Morelos, Kent, Tillman and Cantwell won’t score enough goals. Need more goals in the team. Cantwell played well but he is not a killer. Won’t score 15 a season.

Cantwell looks a neat & tidy player but we need more than that.
Fully agree we need more goals

After they went down to 10 men why didn’t we put on another striker?

Not just that when the Saints had a corner we had all our ten outfield players defending, why not have one or two forward in centre circel, baffling.

Don't know if it was a deliberate ploy to confuse fans but the scoreboards in second half were showing the time as starting first half then went completely blank.Maybe if we didn't know how long had gone or to go they thought it would keep the subway loyal in place longer.🤣

I see Cantwell’s future as the furthest forward of the 3 centre mids. He could create a lot there without having to be a regular goalscorer. The front three all need to be regular goalscorers, which is why I hope Kent moves on. He’ll never be that player.

We were already 1 up at the time.  Why the need to change it when things are even more to our advantage ?
