[FT] Rangers 1 (Morelos 64) - 2 Celtic

Recommended Posts

Completely fell out of the game in the final five minutes or so and their goal looked inevitable.

The midfield selection looked iffy before the game started and by half time all doubts had been realised. If we don't make changes at half time this game will be out of reach before we know it.

Ian, last 10 mins just launching the ball from the back and just coming straight back , Lundstrum, Tilman, Kent not at the races.

Agreed mate, just saying we were doing ok, we obviously set out to limit them which was working until the poor goal we lost. Need to up the tempo 2nd half for sure. Lundstrum is not having a good match and maybe we need to introduce Raskin.

I think we're just too one-dimensional. Morelos is too easy to defend against unless we has someone much closer to him and neither Kent or Sakala have managed to get there often enough and, when they have, the final ball is poor.

But we're losing the midfield battle. Raskin has to come on and allow us to get into this.  Only then can we create the chance we'll need to get back into this.

Sluggish, and uncompetitive.

Beale needs to earn his corn now.

First adjective nails it. Right through the team we lack energy and pace.

But, 45mins is plenty time to get back into it! Come on Rangers!
