I believe this was organised by the UB. Is the demand to get rid of Wilson and Robertson only? There’s no criticism of the main board involved, other than employing these two?

Seems to be a sack Wilson and Robertson rather than a sack the board thing.  

 

It's understandable, given how badly things have gone this season.  It'll get ramped up a few notches if we don't beat the yahoos at Hampden (again).

Currently it's only Wilson and Robertson that are in their sites (as well as Polis Alba).

I think generally the UB's are a good thing for the club but I can't help thinking that an unspoken reason for why they're protesting is down to not spending enough.

 

Go on social media and it's all the football twitter accounts care about. Look at FSG at Liverpool. Probably the most successful club in Europe over the last few years that isn't a state funded project or institution synonymous and entrenched within a country I.e Bayern or Real. They're doing it sustainably as well, but because they haven't signed Mbappe fans are going mad.

 

I agree with Eck on his reaction, probably ott. Wilson hasn't had a good few windows but let's not condemn him. And lets face it, Celtic are sh*t hot at the minute; whether people like to admit it or not, they've got Scottish football on toast and thats probably another reason why the UB have the bed sheets out.

I'm sure it makes them feel better but without a coherent and widely endorsed plan that replaces the status quo, this sort of thing is unhelpful at best. It all just smacks of toys and prams, as if the UB has a monopoly on disappointment.

I'd agree with that. I'd also state the board have backed Ross Wilson and Stewart Robertson in the very few public appearances they have had. As has investor Stuart Gibson. 

 

I'd level plenty of criticism at Robertson and Wilson, but I also think they deserve a chance to help get things going in the right direction. I'm not a fan of this scorched earth everything must go perspective.
