To get much out of these numbers you’d really have to understand the quality of the wider team around him at each club.

Genk - Good team in their league.

Feyenoord - Good team in their league.

Cremonese - Sh*t team in their league.

Simples.

We would be classed as a good team in our league but have frequently provided very poor service to our strikers.

I wouldn't compare team and player.

We'd need to compare his xG to actual goals to see how clinical he is.

His recent Dutch season showed him hitting his xG.

His Serie A season also sees him hit his xG closely.

OK so ........ with all these xG's tied down, exactly how many goals will he score for us next season?

Scott Arfield been offered a deal by Plymouth, also Hearts and Aberdeen. Plymouth offer blew both away.

The game in Scotland has been on life support for years. The SFA has much to answer for.

I'm not Mystic Meg, but...

If he's hitting his xG, as many as we can supply him.

In last season's CL, Morelos had an xG of 0.56 p/90, yet scored 0. I think it would be more likely that Dessers hits that xG in actuality.
