Nah in all seriousness both Kent and Morelos scored important goals and also played their part in bringing in important money for the club with CL and EL qualifications. It should have been a long time ago and hanging onto them cost us in more ways than one. Big opportunity for Beale to put those freed up wages to better use now! But people forget that he’s been paid well over that a year in recent years. Remember how many pay rises he got over the years. What was frustrating was that the club didn’t seem to see the downward trend with Morelos since 2019, or that his form was unusually good in 2019 and that it was a great time to sell (like Bassey). Puts that 1 million for Morelos into perspective imo. The biggest mistake with Kent wasn't running down his contract but paying £7m for him in the first place.
