You know, it's only just dawned on me that Tavernier is quite dopey.

 

I used to think he was gammy with how he played but watching him struggle to take throw ins this pre season I've realised he's actually just dozy.

 

I still rate him like but aye, the boy can't concentrate at all.

Been thus for a couple of seasons now.
 

Scout for somebody who can read the play in front of him, get into position (you don’t have to be lightning fast to do that) and then tackle like the clap of doom. I don’t care if the chap can’t waltz up the wing and snap off a defence splitter pass. Maybe just lay the ball off to … to … er … Danilo?

I think he was best when he was playing as a #10. 

 

During pre-season he's played everywhere, which is not helping.
