Disappointed to hear Yilmaz and Davies are both injured again but very pleased the machine that is Connor Goldson will be back and I doubt he'll settle for a place on the bench. Could this be the starting XI? Elsewhere in the side, it might be too soon for Cifu to make his starting debut but I really do think he'll be the ideal addition to our midfield. Dowell will be expected to help Barisic deal with the threat of Armstrong. Up front Sima may be preferred to Dessers with one eye on Wednesday night? Of course we'll be live as usual tonight at 9pm to discuss all the above and more as season 2023/24 finally gets underway. @BA94 will be joined by Stewart Weir to preview the visit to Killie and if Rangers can regain the SPFL title. I agree mate but Borna can't defend for toffee at the best of times, if we're susceptible to overloads down our flanks he's going to be murder to watch. Geniunely, apart from the 2 or 3 great deliveries out of 15 that he swings in a game he's an average full back. We can probably get by with these two but it's taking a gamble, especially if the manager won't give Yilmaz a concerted run in the team to actually see if he can make it, rather than in friendlies and dead rubbers (where he did well enough). 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

He mentioned Davies at the end of the interview. I was just assuming Balogun is injured due to no mention of him to be fair he might be fine.
