Raskin & Cantwell played half the season last time. Balogun is only involved until Goldson is ready so you could say only 4 newbies.

Yes but your post said we brought in 9 players so that must make my 7 inclusion correct IMO.

I believe Sterling can play LB too, so I’d play him there - Borna and Ridvan just not reliable enough to do defensive side of the job, unfortunately. Cifuentes is arriving and will be fit, so he goes straight in. Balogun to partner Souttar until Goodson is fit.

Danilo - Lammers

Cantwell

Cifuentes - Raskin - Jack

Sterling - Balogun - Souttar - Tavernier

Butland

Sakala & Lammers have both had a good pre season & Roofe is still our most leathal striker (when fit) imo.

                  Sakala - Lammers

                           Roofe

               Hagi - Raskin - Jack

Yilmaz - Balogun - Souttar - Sterling

                         Butland

I think the manager will go with:

                       Sima - Danilo

                           Lammers

               Dowell - Raskin - Cantwell

Barisic- Balogun - Souttar - Tav

                            Butland

I'd go with:

                    Lammers - Danilo

                           Cantwell

               Dowell - Raskin - Jack

Ridvan- Balogun - Souttar - Tav

                            Butland
