Delighted to get through but we’ll need a huge improvement against PSV. 
I’m still not convinced about any of the 4 forwards we’ve recruited but there’s time yet I suppose

Job done. Far harder than it needed to be. Dessers unlucky with that shot. Danilo misses an absolute sitter. Cantwell, Cifu, Raskin were very good IMO. Think we should kept Sima on as his pace would have worried them as the game became more ragged.

He was terrible 1st half but outstanding 2nd half. Butland MOTM by a country mile.

 

Tav another who was poor 1st half but improved 2nd half.

It wasn't pretty and there's a lot of work still to do with this team but that's an excellent draw in the end after an awful 1st half. €5m is a big bonus and I do believe further reinforcements are needed in wide areas and defence. PSV will be a huge test and we need to improve.

Beat them last season so no reason that we can't do it again but as you say huge improvement required.
