Another positive from Zagreb not qualifying is that there are only now 2 teams who can stop Rangers from qualifying for the new Club World Cup - Bruge and Shaktar. 

 

Match or better their coefficient points and we will be going to the Club World Cup.

I know the money/prestige of playing in the Club World Cup would be great but as things stand, we'd be in for a few pastings.  

 

It's so frustrating that our recent European exploits, combined with our inability to win the league, have allowed the scum straight into the CL these past two seasons.  That's why it's so important we win the league!

It would also stretch our squad, I have the fear we have a run of qualifying games for the CL like this year and the CWC. We could easily end up with 70 odd games. I'm torn on it as I've mentioned before but I'm 99% sure we wont make it anyway.
