So if the "leaks" to the press are to believed, Lampard and Muscat have had / are having a Zoom interview and there are "2 other" candidates in the mix.

 

Hard at this point not to be completely underwhelmed by the quality of the candidates that have been mentioned and we're no further forward on whether we'll be employing a DoF and / or getting footballing people involved in the hiring process / running of the football part of the club. 

 

It's OK to say that things are / will be better as Beale has been removed but personally believe the club / board still has a long way to go until they can claim that the footballing part of the club is being run properly.

when you look at lampards managerial record he got Derby to the EC play off final but lost to Villa.

He took the Chelsea job under an embargo and finished top4 but got binned the following season when they were ninth in the table.

His last job was the Everton job which no one could realistically do

Potter has a very good record outside of Chelsea, who are an absolute shitshow of a club.
