Aberdeen must be wishing they could play us every week were a goal down we’re into four minutes of extra time and we are playing the ball square at the back and making back passes

A frustrating 45mins. Some good periods of play with a few good chances but our familiar wastefulness in front of goal and a vulnerability in a defensive sense at times has us behind at the break. Manager spoke of transition being important and we lack shape. Work to be done.

 

I think we need to add more width and must look to get Cantwell more into the game. Might be an argument to take Lawrence off, move Cantwell centrally and add Matondo's pace to one of the flanks. We're still well in the game but must make more of our possession and chances.

I wonder if Clement will make changes for second half. Problem is we are short of midfield options.

We seem to be playing the long ball a lot! why I don't know, they have two big strong CB's who will eat them up all day! strange.

I'd like to see more width on the right, to open up some gaps in their back line. 

 

Whether that's Tavernier pushing on, or McCausland replacing Cantwell or Lawrence, I don't know.

Just catching up, what a basic, basic goal to lose, really poor from us defensively. And it wasn't the first time we were split down the middle.

 

We should at least have one goal. But I've seen this a million times, Celtic drop points and we somehow manage to make things worse for ourselves and drop even more points. Let's see if Clement can change that.

I think, if Cantwell was half as good as he appears to think he is, Frankie, we would be in a better place. He's been MIA since his injury
