[FT] Rangers 3 (Silva 40'; Matondo 45+2'; Cantwell 56') - 0 Livingston

We may very well hammer them, but it is once more a far too defensive line-up. Jack and Lundstram can play the ball, but all along the area instead of shooting or filling the spaces. If a cross comes in, time and again the one striker is being swamped and the danger cleared.

Another non-look at VAR for that rather obvious handball. Well, well ...

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to understand why Matondo gets selected.

Probably because he can produce the unexpected some times

Not the best 45mins but 2-0 up without playing anywhere near or best. In saying that Livi's "tactics" are horrific.

Great to see Silva opening his account and good goal from Matondo.

We have been good. Our possession and counterpressing has been brilliant.

We've just struggled to create clear-cut chances as a result of Livingston's 12-men-behind-the-ball strategy.

McCausland has put in a shift: he ran past a jogging Taverneir to cover as Livingston broke down the left in their one foray forward, winning the ball and initiating a counter-attack.
