Linfield 0:2 Rangers

Recommended Posts

For those who watched the game on RTV last night...

Anyone get really cheesed off with Derek Ferguson's summarising? He had one point to make on each player - usually about how they played at the end of last seasn, and he then went on to repeat the same point about 50 times throughout the game and then finally once more when he was wrapping up the coverage. I would have kicked the telly. ARRRGGGH.. I'm getting angry just thinking about it...

RANGERS suffered a scare in Belfast tonight when Chris Burke had to come off with a knee injury.

However, boss Paul Le Guen believes the injury is not as bad as first feared.

Burke suffered a knee problem before half-time after starting the friendly with Linfield in a spritely fashion.

Le Guen revealed: "I am little bit worried because Chris is an important player for us but the physios have told me it is not serious."

Burke was Rangers Player of the Year last season and is relishing the prospect of working under the new boss.

The medical department will wait for the swelling to go down before fully assessing the damage.

Hope the wee man is back in action asap!

Agreed, one thing i absolutely loved about Numan was his willingness to go forward and link up with Albertz/Gio.

Agreed and Robertson before him was always flying down the left. Robertson was underrated and should of got much more Scotland caps.

Ive only saw Stevie Smith a few times but he has impressed me on every occassion, more so than Ian Murray who also impressed at the start of last season.
