Rangers are looking to bring in AT LEAST six Strikers to add to the half dozen they have the now.

It is thought they have signed an Arthur Scargill and 5 more strikers from a Yorkshire coalmine in England.

At least we'll get some 'fight' out of these Strikers.:box::whistle:

BARRY FERGUSON could escape his Scotland hell — 10,000 miles away in AUSTRALIA.

The shamed Rangers midfielder is wanted Down Under by THREE clubs with strong Ibrox connections.

Old team-mates Craig Moore and Charlie Miller will try to tempt Ferguson into a stunning summer move to Brisbane Roar.

Gers nine-in-a-row legend Ian Ferguson — boss of North Queensland Fury and another former team-mate of the 31-year-old — is also poised to swoop.

And 1980s Ibrox striker David Mitchell — gaffer of Perth Glory — has targeted Fergie as his ‘marquee summer signing’.

Bad boy Baz has been stripped of the Ibrox and Scotland captaincy after his boozing and V-sign antics last week.

It seems likely he will NEVER play for Rangers again and SFA chiefs have also hit him with a lifetime ban from the national team.

A switch to Australia would offer Ferguson an escape route, although the stumbling block could be his £28,000-a- week wage packet.

However, A-League rules allow clubs to have one major player, whose pay is allowed to exceed the wage cap.

So far, Fulham, Zenit St Petersburg and clubs in oil-rich Qatar have all been linked with the controversial player.

Meanwhile, Rangers are set to step up their pursuit of Hamilton pair James McArthur and Tomas Cerny to replace Fergie and fellow bad boy Allan McGregor.

Gers scouting chief Sandy Jardine has been watching the duo in recent months.

Scotland Under-21 midfielder McArthur is similar to Ferguson in style and one of the best prospects around.

And Czech keeper Cerny caught the eye of the Light Blues after five clean sheets in a row in January which earned him the SPL Player of the Month award.

Cerny is on loan from Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc and Accies manager Billy Reid is keen to sign him on a permanent deal as they have first option.

However, the deal is complicated and Sigma are hoping to get a larger offer.

Rangers were already looking to replace third-choice keeper Graeme Smith before McGregor got into trouble.

If fit, I'd like to see Webster get his chance.

Agreed. Looked decent in his only top team game against Gretna - scored and got MOTM. Not the best of opposition but looked assured on the ball and had a good game generally.
