Nope, winning the league is more important as it makes access to CL riches easier. Which was one of the reasons we were so attractive to the 49ers.

Europa I reckon £18 million prize money alone if we do reasonably well. Ticket sales, don't have the figures, say around £8 million after vat tax. Don't know the cost of hosting a match. Champions League I think Celtic made about £38m prize money alone.

Regardless of what fans want, I'd bet my life the 49ers didn't invest for us to focus on domestic matters.

There is a report in the telegraph saying the crowd at the Chelsea game was around 600 other reports say it was 3000 either way a poor turnout that must worry the FIFA lads with the world cup finals less than a year away .

Not very likely, since Shea Charles plays deeper than Diomande (who in turn would have more freedom), i.e. DM or even CH. Contracted to Soton till 2027. BTW, IMHO, as much as I like him, if we sell Raskin now, we'll get serious money to rebuild this ailing squad. We can't let these opportunities slip by, in the here and now.
