Success is winning the league. Another good season in Europe, while closing the gap in the league, is a qualified success. Nothing else is of any importance.

We all wanted Gio, Beale, Clement, and some wanted Barry Ferguson back . The board have chosen to ignore the fans on this one. Was this a wise decision based on what us fans wanted previously with Gio, Beale, Clement. I’m wondering would Martin actually be giving the transfer funds to implement this or will he be just like the named managers above. I have a small glimmer of hope and actually think we will be having more than £20 million allocated to us this transfer window+ the potential players from Leeds also.

Ancelotti would have used us as another testing ground to hone his skills, and no harm in that (to him). At least Martin has experience on both ends of the table, and knows what is required. Absolutely no idea what to expect overall but the gap isnt as big as people are saying. We have been the better team in about 5 of the last 6 matches against Celtic so we need to keep that up and they will take care of themselves. We need to start by eradicating the poor results against the other league teams as these are the games thats cost us to be right in the mix for two title races. Ibrox needs to become a fortress again, it cant be a place where teams rock up and enjoy it.
