  1. It's not really an opinion. No one knows if it effects the players. Supporting the team for the whole match is being a real supporter. Leaving early isn't. That's a fact.

  2. Once they get on the Subway I wonder if they go all the way to their stop, or do they get off a few stops early?

  3. The issue is more to do with us doing our job as supporters than how the players react. Support your team until the final whistle. No Surrender (unless I can't be arsed).

  6. Hagi's first touch was terrible yesterday. The ball just wasn't sticking to him at all.

  7. What about we turn the question around? Can the support and encouragement of fans have an impact on players? IMO, yes. I've been to many games where this has happened. Surely then the opposite effect can happen if people are obviously choosing to leave in their droves while the result is not certain?

  8. Mate I've been a season ticket holder for more years than I care to think about, I have went through to Ibrox and never entered the place deciding I fancy going on the bevvy! I have left at half time for the same reason! I have left Ibrox 5/10 minutes from the end because I took the huff at the result!. Bottom line is I will decide what I do!

  9. Nah, just genuinely interested if it's only football they leave early and why the need to leave early 🤷‍♂️ As another example, can't see them booking a fortnight in Benidorm and coming home after 10 days.

  10. Much like a last minute or injury time winner, the last song is often the best. I would pity those who miss it but they've made their own decision not to care about it all, so...

  11. Well, no one knows if it does or doesn't. Support your team though. For the whole match, not just when it suits you.

  12. I wonder if the fans who leave the football early also leave the cinema before a film ends? Or if they leave they theatre before the play ends? Or leave a concert before the gig has ended?

  13. If our professional football players are upset by people leaving early then they’re really not very professional at all. I’ve never understood all the fretting over people leaving before full time. The only ones who see this as an issue are the anally retentive amongst us who think everyone else should be like them.

  14. It took 10mins for the fans to get on the players backs, especially Goldson, Hagi and Lundstram. It seems we are back to the need to have whipping boys. That, and as you say leaving in droves well before the final whistle, it's an utter disgrace. For once it wasn't the Subway Loyal as I stayed to final whistle and when I walked past the Subway the queue wasn't even past the chippy.

  15. Hate to sound like a broken record but watching thousands of fans leave well before the final whistle, must be disheartening for the players. Especially when the game is on a knife edge.

  16. I've never understood why hes played in that position. Hes far from effective. Woukd rather see him in a central role for which I think hes better suited.

  17. I was too far away from Alfies goal to tell, and DMAA says replays show Kent's wasn't a pen!

  18. After watching the difference that Wright made on the right I can't understand why we are asking Hagi to play there.

  19. Playing Hagi out wide when Wright is on the bench and we’re desperate for a creative central midfielder is beyond stupid. Some poor experimentation today. The entire team looked confused about what was being asked of them. Thankfully we got away with it in the end
