I said in another thread but I think it probably deserves its own. I am very proud of the effort of every single player out there tonight. They put in a HUGE amount of effort, weren't really outplayed, gave it everything. FANTASTIC achievement to get to the final, fantastic effort in the final and they did every single one of us proud. They gave us what we always want in our RANGERS team - heart, grit, determination and commitment WE ARE THE PEOPLE NO SURRENDER

I agree Gribz, Davis has done nothing, invisible. I was disappointed Nacho didn't get a start anyway, but there is a very good shout for getting him on at half-time. That said, he could be a good one to keep in the locker for the Motherwell game on Saturday.

I think we have performed reasonably well. Papac has been solid and I think Whittaker has been playing well on the left hand side - but I also think that Kevin Thomson is quickly becoming a vital player for us, he has played very well. Obviously Cuellar has been very tidy again. I think the game is passing Hemdani by though - he is too pedestrian in a game like this - too slow IMO - I actually would prefer Christian Dailly playing that role. That said, 0-0 and still in it !! COME ON !!!!!!!!!

They are definitely a good team - but you know what ? They dont commit that many guys forward either 0 a few times they have only had one player supporting the player with the ball.

Agreed on both counts Re them being two of the best ever to wear our shirts. Durrant for me had everything pre-injury and I actually think he could have been better than Gazza, that is how highly I rated Durrant. Mols was an incredible finisher and his control of the ball was amazing. I remember being at THAT Motherwell game where he bagged 4 - he was shit hot that day - we had a Man U ST holder with us and he said we would struggle to keep him beyond the end of the season - sadly, he got his injury and the rest as they say is history. Not sure I agree with you though post-injury. Never felt either player was the same after their injuries. Durrant lost some of his explosiveness in getting beyond the strikers and Mols lost a bit of his mobility.

He did an interview which was in one of the papers at the weekend - definitely supporting us. Says he has a ticket which Numan got for him but not sure that his schedule will allow him to be there - felt like trying to get his number and askign for his ticket !

I think we are in for a really tough game, but we can definitely do it. I am surprisingly not nervous at all - getting to this stage was an incredible achievement, anything else is, in my opinion, a bonus - and I think that is why I am not nervous. I don't have an expectation of us winning it - but we have as good a chance as Zenit and a better chance than every other team that played in the UEFA Cup this season
