  1. I can't believe that there's anyone who thinks that. My view has always been that Traynor helped King take over the club and He's kept on Traynor through loyalty and/or because he'll perform PR tasks for King himself (in a Murrayesque way), but not for what he does for the club
  2. Goldson for me. Set up the winner plus played well throughout, with some great passes.
  3. This isn't a new thing. It's been like that since we came back up to the SPL. If the club ARE doing anything behind the scenes, which I seriously doubt, it clearly isn't working. The referees are taking the piss. We saw that with the Goldson booking on Saturday and the WWE move on Alfie tonight. This dignified silence approach isn't working. It's costing us points and it's costing us trophies. The club MUST start publicly calling out referees. It's the only way that's going to work.
  4. The second half was a lot better because the number 10s played wider. We were too easy to defend against in the first half and I don't know why it took them 45 minutes to make that tweek to the formation.
  5. So the club have got an apology after one attack on Traynor, but nothing on the continuous xenophobic and racist attacks on Morelos? Hmm. The club's priorities are all wrong.
  6. McGregor, Goldson and Arfield played well. I've gone for Arfield.
  7. These are small amounts that add up over the course of a season. We'll never know if Celtic would have got full points if Griffiths had been sent off or if we would have won if Cosgrove (and other Aberdeen players) would have been booked early but the league title is/was tight and these small margins can make the difference between dropping points or not (or stopping offside goals in cup finals). If a Celtic player had done what Jamie Hamilton did yesterday, does anyone seriously believe that he would have been sent off? Not a chance. There are different rules applied to clubs and to players, and it's making Scottish football a joke. It annoys me to hear people say we should have won anyway. It's not possible for a team of our resources to play well every week. We're going to have off days. The difference is that when we have one the ref gives the opposition every assistance by allowing carte blanche fouling, or time wasting etc whereas Celtic can do whatever they want and not get sent off, and sending the opposition players off at any excuse. We're going to end up losing players and the management team once they realise that the game is rigged in Scotland and it's only possible for one team to win the league.
  8. I've just voted for Christine. She would make an excellent, hard working addition to the board plus it would be good to have a board member who uses Gersnet.
  9. I don't think this decision will (can?) be appealed. The judge who granted the injunction has clarified it and that's all.
  10. At work so can't listen. Any new rumours/news?
  11. Yes, see post 6. Not 100% sure, but think they are an approved partner of Hummel, but not sure what came first.
  12. I think that it also broke on RM first, which perhaps forced Sherbrook to go public.
  13. Apparently the loan will go through if Burnley can find a replacement.
  14. Matej Vydra on loan from Burnley.
  15. Rangers 2 - 0 Aberdeen FGS Morelos
  16. Sherbrook Loyal on FF has just posted that tomorrow is going to be even more exciting and he can't wait to see how happy everyone will be at the deadline!!! He's ITK so can't wait. Not going to be able to get to sleep now!
  17. 7 years' notice had to be given on the original deal. However the current board of directors negotiated a clusterfuck of a new contract which superseded the old contract. This is the one which has been subject to the ongoing court case where SD are kicking our butts. This court case is ongoing with both parties suing each other and won't be heard until 2021, and probably won't be finalised long after that. Separate to that, we entered into another contract with Elite and Hummel for this season, which Elite are refusing to pay us, which is why we were in court this week. It seems that we're going to have to deal with SD next season, I think. Confused? Yeah, me too. The only thing I'm not confused about is that the more we try and sort out our retail, the bigger hole we seem to get into.
  18. That's correct. It's the money for this season's sales. However there's a suggestion that Elite now have a partnership with SD and won't pay us without a struggle as they're being influenced by them.
  19. I've read the recent comments and don't see any anti-Irish comments, and haven't seen anyone give any specific examples either.
  20. David Edgar watch the Euro under 21s last summer and was raving about Hagi at that time. Seems a fantastic move for us!
  21. I don't think that's a view shared by Gerrard or his coaching staff. An integral part of the roles of our full backs is to attack and give us width, hence the change of our wide forward from wingers to be number 10s. Their attacking play is not just a bonus.
