  1. Rowies would do a lot more damage ?
  2. I think that would be dreadful. Morelos would be wasted. Yes, he wanders around, but that's all part of him playing upfront, as he drags their defenders out of position. We need him in the centre. We have tried it in a couple of games late on, but that's against tiring, poorer quality opposition. We saw in the first game what happens when Defoe plays in the centre. It can't happen again.
  3. Rangers 1 Celtic 2 Kent I'll be delighted if I'm wrong, but I feel that their attacking midfielders may be too creative for us.
  4. The Scottish Cup is on Premier Sports again, which is a shame. I won't be subscribing again.
  5. As an Arsenal fan, who would you want?
  6. It's possible, as I thought Helander struggled in the first half on Sunday and it may be good to rest him prior to the next few games. However Gerrard seems to have adopted an approach of wanted a settled defence and he may not make the change.
  7. I really don't understand why we give the ramblings of a celtic fan the oxygen he craves.
  8. Yeah, Gersnet on its own won't have much of an impact but it's not just Gersnet. There needs to be a united front to try and continue to get the message across on all types of social media. Some of the songs appear to have disappeared so it's working to an extent. However, you're probably right that it may be impossible to change some of them.
  9. I can understand that viewpoint, but if we sit back and do or say nothing then it'll happen again. We've seen that already and it's resulted in part of our ground being closed, and with us not accepting tickets for an away game. The journalists aren't to blame for that happening. It's the fans singing the songs that have harmed the club. We can sit back and try and hide it or we can try and be proactive and continue to get the message across that they are continuing to harm the club and they have to stop.
  10. Let's not deny it happened, or we're just encouraging those who sang it to do so again. It did happen and it put the club at risk. Next time, it'll be be the other team sticking on the song with the Fare rep waiting and none of their support singing. We'll be so easy to set up because our support have shown they have little discipline. I'll be shocked if the club take tickets for the next Euro away game. The message is obviously still not getting through and the fans involved are being incredibly selfish.
  11. It happened. Guys who were there have confirmed it. We got lucky this time. We may not next time and it needs to be sorted.
  12. It's possible but let's hope that it wasn't reported. The whole ground was singing at that point, with the Dutch singing "Fey-e-Noord", and it's also possible the FARE rep wasn't in his seat at that point, so we may have got lucky. However, I'd think that the club may take some sort of action itself.
  13. Normally the club would have heard by now if they were being reported, and they hadn't heard anything on Saturday.
  14. Aberdeen 1 - 2 Rangers Morelos
  15. I’m amazed to see Helander being praised. I thought he had a nightmare first half. Beaten in the air numerous times by Naismith and just couldn't handle him.
  16. Referees like the one today are the reason Scottish players don't develop technically. They allow constant niggling and fouling to prevent football being played. If the game was played in England, Hearts would have had around 14 bookings and possibly 2 red cards. It's horrible to watch.
  17. Sounds like an ill family member.
  18. Surely asking them to refrain from using 2 specific words for the 2-2.5 hours that they are in the stadium isn't too much to ask? Actually, it seems that it is.
  19. The banners weren't a problem. There are no reports about the Springburn flag making it into the ground thankfully.
  20. Hence why I said "We'll likely get fined for them" ?
  21. Not sure as to the origins of the word but it's either used as a slang for: - a extremist supporter of Irish Republicanism (or insert your own description), or - a slang name for an RC Either way, I fail to see that it's slagging the Irish in general. The former description wouldn't even need to be aimed at Irish people. If someone a derogatory term to describe an SNP supporter, for example, it's hardly an insult to all Scots.
  22. I don't mean to be disrespectful, mate, but I don't see the relevance of the Irishness?
  23. I haven't heard any reports of that word being sung. I thought it was another add-on?
