You can now look at Helander and Goldson's cock-ups at their second goal with a certain amount of fondness. -

We wouldn't have qualified last night, even with the win. We needed Porto not to win to do so. -

A draw was bizarrely better for us than a win, given the result in the other game. We would still have needed a draw against YB, even if we'd won, but with us drawing it means Feyenoord have something to play for against Porto, and if they beat Porto then we're through. -

I'd rather not publicise it more than it has been already, but basically the whole Rangers end was lit up with flares, and there were a couple of banners. It's the flares that are the issue. We'll likely get fined for them. -

I’m generally not in favour of name calling aimed at fellow bears, but sometimes when their behaviour is so monumentally stupid, idiotic etc, it's difficult not to. I've also pulled people up for making accusations against the UBs for incidents where there’s been no proof that they're involved. They've taken credit for last night's display and while it may have looked great, the club will be fined and the UBs should be responsible for the cost. -

Is Jorgensen available for the game? -
From that side, no, but presumably they'll pay better. If we're not able to offer a route into the first team, then it does come down to cash.

Hamilton had a 17 year old called Jamie Hamilton playing a centre half at the weekend. 17 and marking Jermain Defoe! Given his stage of development and his current ability, when would he get a look in and playing regularly for our first team if we had signed him rather than Hamilton? Not for many years, and Leon King may be looking at it and thinking the same.

I don't know how they do this, other than a share issue in the football club going to shareholders in the holding company and a transfer of trade and assets. Not sure as to the reasons. It gets rid of the company called Sevco, and there could be some other legal reason linked to an ongoing case, but you can't get rid of liabilities by just transferring the trade to a subsidiary, or everyone would be doing it, so the other reasons are unclear.

When was that?

Thanks for the updates, Ian.

I doubt his wish for privacy has changed.

That'll be Jim McColl. He was considering putting cash in back in 2010 but quickly backed out when his name became public. He'll not be looking to change his stance on that any time soon.

And some try and say that the SNP aren't anti-Rangers. ? A vote for the SNP is a vote against Rangers.- 30 replies

My sources (the published annual accounts) tell me that the club needs £10 million and that Dave King has agreed to fund it. Other sources (the published AGM agenda) tell me that the directors are seeking the authority to have a share issue.

2 English players?

Who would your 11th player be? ?

That wouldn't have been my understanding, but fair enough.

I've been giving the "life ban" some thought. I can understand why MacK has suggested it, and it certainly should be a few years, but I'm not convinced that sine die is appropriate.
-
The club presumably has option 1 in place at the moment.

I'm like Gonzo. I don't recall anything by us at Ibrox over the last couple of seasons.
-
Has there been much pyro at Ibrox by the home support?
