STEVEN NAISMITH insists he has been proved RIGHT
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It's pathetic that he's trying to use the current issues to try and justify his decision to leave. He has gone down in my estimation far more by doing this than his original decision to leave. -
So a manager benefits from selling our good players rather than attempting to keep them, and we are expecting to win a European trophy with this approach?
-
Exactly. Sounds like it was written by someone who has no idea about the realities of Scottish football.

BBC Scotland and SPL agree 3-year deal incl. Rangers games
Bluedell replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
I guess the 5 way agreement covered out TV and radio rights for more than 1 year. Blackmailing bastards! -
Don't quite follow what you are saying. I presume that you are talking about Newco? the BTC is irrelevant to it. To say that investing in a football club doesn't have risk is incorrect. It's a huge risk as has been seen with the recent movement in share prices. They would only have control is they owned a majority of the shares. The fact that the assets of the club are worth a lot more doesn't help them get back their cash either. I doubt that they would be allowed to asset strip.
-
Exactly. We are talking about a generally highly regarded company in Octopus. Why would they look at buying a minority of the shares in the club, which is a fairly high risk venture, costing them a lot more money and sinking more money into a club where they have already lost a bucketful? They cocked up by not getting proper security, They aren't going to make that mistake again.

A bit of jealousy coming across in that blog. -
He spent a long time speaking to Leggat last Saturday afternoon.

A new ownership battle - an impossible situation?
Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
No. SDM lost interest in us quite a few years ago and I doubt he would want to get involved again. "Been there, done it" as far as he's concerned. -
I know 100s of people that have all three and none are remotely qualfied to identify the next CEO of the club.
-
No, particularly not in relation to Sevco 5088 being allegedly a subsidiary.
-
The IPO has nothing to do with his role of Company Secretary.
-
Page 64 of the Prospectus and no mention of Sevco 5088. Was the information that it was a subsidiary deliberately concealed and if so, by who? 14. Investments Details of the investments in which RFCL holds 20 per cent. or more of the nominal value of any class of share capital are as follows: Subsidiary Undertakings (all incorporated in the United Kingdom): Rangers Youth Development Ltd Ordinary Shares 100% Youth Development Rangers Media Investments Ltd Ordinary Shares 100% Dormant Rangers Financial Services Ltd Preference Shares 100% Dormant The Rangers Shop Ltd Ordinary Shares 100% Dormant Rangers Retail Ltd Ordinary Shares 51% Retail Rangers Matchday Services Ltd Ordinary Shares 100% Dormant

Stockbridge is obviously failing in his position as Company Secretary.
-
So why did Rangers International Football Club plc, a company set up on 16/11/12, agree to buy Sevco 5088 in the period between 16/11/12 and 7/12/12? Why did Green and Stockbridge not disclose their direcorships as was required? Why did Green or Stockbridge not notify Companies House of Green's directorship in the football club? Why was both of their directorships in Rangers Media Limited never dislcosed to Companies House?

I can't say that I favour Mather as CEO, but what makes Walter and Ally qualified to offer an alernative?
-
We should be trying to get the best candidate available. Turning round and giving it to someone internally with very little thought is not the way to go.

Martin Bain poised to return as Rangers chief executive
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Surely not if he was not a director? -
Martin Bain poised to return as Rangers chief executive
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
A reasonable analysis. Don't know. Disagree with most of the names suggested for one reason or another. It probably shouldn't be a major shareholder though. Probably being someone in who is unconnected with the club. Don't have any opinion on Gordon McKie. -

Why? Why? -
Martin Bain poised to return as Rangers chief executive
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The suggestion of Bain shows a lack of imagination, and we can do a lot better, but is actually a better suggestion than a vast majority of those in the forums over the past 24 hours. -
What about his directorship? And I'd just like to say "wow!"
