  1. It was quite noticable that BF1 was the only section of the ground to have a steward stand in front of them and watch them for the whole game. It's disturbing that the club sanction this intimidation to the main part of the ground to bring some needed atmosphere. Now would be a good time for Craig Whyte to come out and show some leadership on the situation that is brewing.
  2. Craig Whyte, and whether he sells our players in the January window.
  3. Exactly. I'm surprised that any football fan would try and take a bottle into a stadium.
  4. Can't see why it would as it's illegal to do it anyway.
  5. I couldn't pick him out of a team photo, never mind identify his wife walking up the street with her M&S shopping.
  6. They know where I am
  7. We didn't do that well in the first 25 minutes but after that I thought it was a good performance.
  8. With all due respect to the groups, they are. It's just a bunch of guys who want to go along on a Saturday and support their team noisily and colourfully, but who are now being threatened with arrests for doing that. The groups are not in it to be political but obviously feel that they are forced to make a stand on this issue. They aren't claiming to be political groups or experts in statements and given this the criticism that they have received is a little OTT. They are what it says on the tin.
  9. Some people believe that the Bouncy/the Sash/Derry's Walls are sectarian. Whilst I don't totally disagree with the point, I don't think that we should be dictated to by those who want to be offended, and also I doubt that the inclusion of NS will have much impact on the people that will actually take notice of the statement.
  10. So No Surrender is the equivalent of Tiochfaidh ar la?
  11. Fixed that for you.
  12. The SNP are the ones who are pushing the bill. They are the ones who got in a tizzy following the game against Celtic last season and tried to push through the ridiculous bill. They are the party in power while people are being penalised before they have been tried. I'd disagree with Frankie in that it must be aimed at them specifically as they are the party in government and they are the ones responsible for the current mess. As for the title of the thread, it was just was chanted for the first 11 minutes of the game.
  13. I am in favour of joining the English league but if it was going to happen, it would have happened by now. The OF's standing has fallen significantly over the last 10 years and is only going to get worse. Sky have renewed deals without it being on the table. I can't see any sort of Atlantic league either. We are stuck here for at least the next 10-15 years.
  14. It doesn't help if the main guy responsible for this area in the club is apparently on holiday and wasn't at the match.
  15. I believe much of his business interests are off-shore so it's too difficult to establish the true level of his wealth.
  16. I thought there was an anti-Salmond chant immediately after the incident with the stewards/police and the fans left.
  17. The innuendos have been going on for a few days. Radio Clyde were questioning how the ref could possibly have missed the incident.
  18. Yet again, McLeish shows a lack of imagination in the transfer market.
  19. Richard Gordon's subsequent question, after the interview had finished, asking if Kenny had a mirror is fairly relevant.
  20. I understand that there was one person whose actions were out of order.
  21. Supposed Rangers fans? Hmmm. I am one who claimed that they were heavy handed earlier in this thread. Feel free not to believe me or to question whether I'm a fan. I had not realised that the police were allowed to man-handle innocent people but I guess it can be justified just because there is a lot of people in the TBO/UB section.
  22. G4S are claiming that a steward was punched. However I fail to understand the heavy handed approach with fans who were not involved.
  23. Thanks. The police certainbly seemed to charge in for no apparent reason and were man-handling fans who were standing doing nothing.
  24. Not aware of the Tories setting policies that lead to our supporters being arrested for no reason (singing BMG ). It's the SNP's policies that have resulted in Rangers fans names being published and having to report to police stations when games are on before they have even been tried. Innocecnt until proven guilty? Not in Salmond's Scotland.
  25. Well done to TBO/UB for making their feelings known for the first 11 minutes of the game. However why did 30-40 get thrown out in during the second half? Looked like shocking behaviour from the police.
