  1. I don't believe that there will be a "banned list".
  2. Another great reason for criticising someone who didn't have the option of jpoining our club.
  3. No, the bottom line was that he changed his tune when Rangers wouldn't meet the fee to buy him. He didn't have the option to return to us.
  4. Yeah, let's slag off Miller when Rangers never had a bid accepted for him. :meh: How can he show disloyalty when he can't sign for us?
  5. Thanks. Didn't see the branding last w/e though.
  6. But Murray owns Azure! Can we never get rid of him? :ffs: :fish:
  7. How about the cleaning contract? Surely we pay them.
  8. I don't see the connection between the 2 statements.
  9. He's not been our worst player but he hasn't played well. Virtually everything he tried in the first half on Tuesday didn't come off. It isn't just his misses, but it was his flicks, passes and crosses as well. He's the one player in the team that if he had played a bit better then we could have been sitting with 2 wins. I doubt that a bit of an improvement by, say, Edu would have led to two wins. Naismith is that important to us, IMO.
  10. As has been said, he's not playing in his best position but that doesn't account for his poor touch. He has been getting in the correct positions, as Dutchy says, and his effort has been fine. He just needs more games. His positioning is so good that he is vital to our team doing well and the fact that he can't get the ball to do what he wants has been a major reason for our poor results so far. He just needs a few more games (hopefully) and he'll be back to last season's form.
  11. I thought that Ortiz looked a lot better last night. Played more as a left midfielder than a winger and looked more comfortable.
  12. Saturday showed that we are in desperate need of a striker. It seems that we only have Jelavic and Lafferty and need at least one more to help if either of them are injured.
  13. I do think that you have a point in respect of the fear aspect. It's not necessarily Ally's job to instill it, but it could be done by a good number 2 or 3. Unfortunately neither McDowall or Durrant appear to have it. Ally could do with someone else in there, rather than relying on the old pals act. However, Ally himself still gets a better view of the game from the stand. "Anorak mob"? I'm cut to the core.
  14. My burger and medium coke came to £5.30.
  15. Random observations on yesterday. Donald Muir was still in the Directors Box, although not sitting with the directors. Donald McIntyre wasn't, unsurprisingly. Kenny McAskill was. The new strip would look far better withut the white band at the shoulders. The fact that you can't use the Dumbreck junction if you come across the Kingston Bridge must be a real pain for some, but it cuts down the traffic for me. Despite the fact that the Catering booths were apparently upgraded in some bits of the stadium, they looked unchanged in the main stand. There did seem to be a big increase in the prices though, and no more branding for Mr Singhs on the curry pies. I fail to see the need for the new banners over the screens. The previous ones were better. The new sound system is a big improvement.
  16. There's many things to criticise about the game, but that? You think he just does it to copy Walter? Ally will get a far better view of the game in the directors box than he would on the touchline and if he wants to watch the game from there then why not?
  17. How long does the email confirmation take? i thought it would come through immediately but no sign of it.
  18. There's pictures of Ally and some other Gers up in the Physio area in Ross Hall. I'm more aware of us using Ross Hall in the past as well.
  19. Now that he's signed a pre-contract, perhaps his club may let him go now for a little sweetner of, say, £200K. What sort of midfielder is he?
  20. Part of the problem is that they are doing everything so publicly and getting fans' hopes up. They should not speak about any player until it's signed and sealed and then there wouldn't be the same level of criticism when a deal falls through for whatever reason.
  21. He was in Manchester with a Gers scarf round each wrist. Bit more than just looking out for us, although I wouldn't put him in the die-hard category.
  22. It's not just O'Rourke who thinks that. It's EVERYONE connected with that cesspool from Desmond and the rest of the directors to their manager to their supporters groups. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for anything from them.
  23. Keep a wee eye out for some criticism of FARE's operations in the press over the next couple of days. Edit: not this w/e unfortunately. Watch this space.
