So you can speak for absolutely everyone on that?

We would thank the fans for their continued tremendous support both home and away so far this season, and there has been great strides made in eliminating offensive singing from our fans since the PSV matches.. It is important however that we do not let our guard down, especially with the Maribor match being next up, and the suspended sentence hanging over us for any repeat offence from the PSV game where the FARE report led to UEFA sanctions. We would remind fans that any mention of Fenians, FTP or The Billy Boys is banned and will lead to sanctions being taken against the club, which will mean a closed doors game at Ibrox for us. It is also expected that the Anti-Sectarian Initiative Police unit will again be in attendance at this match, keeping up their 100% record of being in attendance at all Rangers games since their creation, and whilst they will again be recording with cameras and making reports on our behaviour, it is important we again give them nothing to report about. We are sure the Rangers fans will again show that we support our team and celebrate our heritage in a positive manner and we hope for a result that ensures our participation in the Europa League Group Stage. It's always nice when someone gives to a church and then ensures it's well publicised. Generosity to the core. His generosity extended to other areas as well. I'm sure he did it because he's a nice man.

What a shame. Looks like the rebel has lost on this occasion.

It's not parochial to want them to get stuffed. The poorer they do in Europe the less money they have to buy better players and the more chance we therefore have to win the league. There's a trade-off between the wanting a better co-efficient which may result in a better Celtic, and a slightly worse co-efficient and more chance of us stuffing the. I'll take the latter. Oh, and the parochial side of me wants them to get well-humped as well.

The fact that Stokes played the ball isn't that relevant IMO. The keeper put his whole body on the ground in front of Stokes as you say and therefore tripped Stokes. If it was outside the box and a player threw himself to the ground in front of a player running fast and the player tripped over him, it would be a free kick. Just becuase it's a goalie doesn't mean it's OK.
-
If that had happened to one of our players, I'd be wanting a penalty.
-
Wow. So it could be quite a few years before Scotland get anyone into the CL group stages as qualifying will presumably become much harder.
-
Is anyone else pissed off by the fact that people seem to have lost their names and are replaced by some presumably twitter reference with a meaningless @? Old farts loyal!
-
Yes, they are when we can wait 3.5 months and get them for nothing. Getting a player in for the CL would be worth paying for given the potential benefit. The potential benefit of getting him in now is a lot less. I don't see why that viewpoint is nonsensical. Paying £400K for 3.5 months league and Europa League probably isn't worth it. Paying £400K to help us earn £17m probably is worth it. Surely even you can understand that?

We're already out of the CL. He's worth a hell of a lot less to us now.

Troublesome Tax Issues Compound Financial Fears For Rangers Fans
Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It'd be interesting to know which HMRC office this is being discussed with. Perhaps there's an HMRC office in Bradford or Bootle that's full of Celtic fans out to get us and do everything for dramatic effect.- 29 replies

Why would they know which door to go to? Do you know where the accounting for the club is carried out?- 29 replies

Troublesome Tax Issues Compound Financial Fears For Rangers Fans
Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I've negotiated with HMRC in the past but they have never sent sheriff officers to my door to serve papers. I am dealing with one at the moment where we have communicated by letter, email and phone, but it would take a lot for it to escalate to the sheriff officer stage, and don't buy that HMRC were doing it for "dramatic effect".- 29 replies

I believe that the £2.8m includes £0.9m of interest but I don't think that it includes fines (although can't say for sure.)

Congratulations, mate. All the best to you and Mrs Gazza.
-
It was agreed that CW would foot the bill, and in return the purchase price of the club fell by £6m.

Madjid Bougherra says Rangers offer 'made me sick'
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He's over 2 years older than the 2 outfield players who were awarded long contracts and he thinks he should get the same? You getting sent off against Malmo made me sick. -
It's more due to the Bosman ruling than Real Madrid. Loads of clubs were at it during that period, including ourselves. The Bosman ruling kicked in during 1996 and from 1997 to 1999 our wage bill more than doubled.
-
Do you also criticise the guys who turn up to games in Green Northern ireland tops? I don't see the problem in what Bougherra did.

Exclusive! Gers Chase Aussie Star Matt McKay

Why the f*** do we keep publicising these interests on the official site? Keep it quiet until a deal's done! -
We don't know if McGregor or Davis rejected offers, or how their agents negotiated. We also don't know the level of the offers made to each and how satisfactory or otherwise the offers were.

In the world of football, are we now classed as a small club?
Bluedell replied to Gazza_8's topic in Rangers Chat
We are a big club playing in a small, unattractive league without the income streams that clubs playing in bigger leagues have. We are still a big club, just a big club that doesn't have much cash. -
Supporter Information - Malmo v Rangers
Bluedell replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
UEFA managed to fine Rangers for something that happened outside the Villareal ground, and I believe that there was no evidence that the act was carried out by a Rangers fan. UEFA's jurisdiction stretches way past the stadium gates. Any Rangers fans in Malmo are putting the club at risk, even if they have no intentions of misbehaving in any way. If they innocently get caught up in something, we could face a closed stadium or worse.
