Is it because you're "hospitality" now and not season ticket holders that you didn't get the code?

SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

So they all pre-selected by SFA. Hardly independent. 'Find against us and mysteriously drop off the list and lose future work...' -
SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

My recollection is that the judge said that both clubs accepting arbitration wouldn't preclude them returning to court. -
A Message From Managing Director Stewart Robertson

Piara Powar's Kick It Out? KIO certainly had an anti-semitic bent to it when PP was in charge, so it has that in common with BLM. -
You have to wonder why we agreed to play them.
-
F1 appear to have made a conscious decision no o use the BLM phrase. Surely Rangers can do that without FIFA? Likewise the F1 drivers were mature enough to make a decision to support anti-racism without taking the knee. I'm sure players could do that too, although I feel that they're being pressured into it. I can accept that, but both you and him seem unable to accept that it means something different to others. Just because he is willing to overlook certain aspects of BLM doesn't mean that everyone has to. However, we're both repeating ourselves, so I'll (try and) leave it there.

Where was the club's support of Morelos when the reaction of him reporting racism at Celtic Park was Celtic to deny it and issue a statement attacking him? Where was the support on the other occasions when he was racially abused within football grounds? Are they only going to do it when another football club isn't involved?
-
It seems the opposite to me. There are those who are trying to say that BLM is only a nice anti-racism message whereas it's been a lot more than that pretty much from the start. Surely it's the BLM organisation who get to say what the BLM organisation stands for, and not a footballer or you or me?

I've listened to him and respectfully disagree with his views that there's no political element. It's like listening to Lewis Hamilton. He's suffered from racism in the past and I respect his rights to stand up against it, but it doesn't mean that I agree with him that an example of racism is that only 4% of children's books have main character who is black, when black people make up 3% of the population. I totally agree that he shouldn't receive abuse. However there's no reason why a rational discussion can't place on it.

Club policy shouldn't be decided upon by the players. I find that a bit disturbing that organisations can be forced into organisations which could be described as extremist, albeit with some reasonable policies. I disagree, and I'm not sure why some people refuse to engage in discussions as to the nature of BLM.

When you have to constantly explain that the gesture means one thing and isn't in support of other issues then perhaps there's an issue with the gesture. F1 uses a "End racism" message and the drivers wear a black t-shirt that uses the same phrase. Simple, effective and not in support of BLM.
-
I've seen Goldson's comments that it's "about equality, not politics" but he's making a gesture that supports a political movement. He claims that there's ignorance but perhaps it's him that's being ignorant of (some of) the concerns (although not denying that there are other reasons for some people's opposition to it). and what many think the gesture means. I'd guess that peer pressure/social media have forced some players into following the herd, and that's not very "democratic". I understand Goldson's reasons for doing it but perhaps he should make a greater effort to understand the views of those who are against the BLM organisation. Likewise, do the club have a realistic option not to support BLM? I've got no idea what the board think about it, but they don't have an option but to support it, and I'm uncomfortable with that and again it's no really how a "democratic society" should function. It was interesting to see the F1 drivers wearing anti-racism t-shirts but only Hamilton wore a BLM one and most appeared not to take the knee.

So Covid-19 isn't a virus and people aren't dying from it as it's a hoax?
-
It was very well organised. Lead names and phone numbers were recorded and temperatures checked contactlessly before entering. The lounge was open but only no standing allowed, or else the beer garden where there were a lot of standing tables (if you know what I mean) sensibly distanced. Numbers were restricted and there weren't any distancing problems. I felt that they could have had a few more in without too many issues. The one area where distancing fell down at times was in the gents, but there's not much that can be done about that.

A disagreement on Covid shouldn't lead to you leaving the site. You said a few incendiary things which I reacted to and also attempted to dispute the arguments that you put forward as I strongly disagree with you on Covid-19, although not necessarily the implications of it on other areas, which I haven't commented on. We disagree. It happens. We should just put it behind us and move on.

Admittedly I may have been wrong about this.

You really haven't given yours. You claim to have talked to some unnamed NHS people (I've talked to some who contradict what you've said). You've made claims about actuarial figures but not given a source and don't explain what mortality rate table the were using (it can have a big impact on the results as I'm sure you know). You haven't looked at overall deaths to compare what the actual level is excluding Covid deaths (which of course aren't Covid. You've claimed Covid deaths aren't caused by Covid but given no evidence. You've made spurious claims about it all being a hoax. Anyway, what exactually did I say that was "factually" incorrect? That actuaries can come up with different results depending on what mortality table they use? What is factually incorrect about that? That actuaries are usually wrong? I've had dealings with actuaries for 25 years and what they produce are estimates that are usually off the mark. They would be the first to admit it as things change. If you wish to dispute that they are usually wrong then knock yourself out but I could produce plenty of actuarial reports that turn out to be totally different from what actually happened. That includes medium term mortality rates which can vary significantly (short term mortality rates are just a crap shoot anyway). Are you suggesting that the hospitals are empty because lockdown isn't working? Are you suggesting that nobody has died of covid that hasn't been reported as covid? Do you know the meaning of "factually"?
-
Seriously? Actuaries will predict all sorts of things depending on what mortality table they pick on that day and they're usually wrong Proves that lockdown is working. There are people who have died whose cause of death hasn't been detailed as Covid bit it probably is. The covid deaths are underestimated. Yes, they are.
-
Hoax? Fuck off and tell that to the relatives and friends of the people that have died from it!

Racism can't be stopped by wishing capitalism away either,
-
Yeah, I don't think what they are doing is unreasonable. Happy to pay my fiver to know I'll get in, that everyone's temperature is checked and get my drink once we're in.
-
There's a difference between us preventing black players protesting and the club actively supporting BLM. The club should stick to the Everyone Anyone campaign, Anti-racism without the politics. It also avoids the element of bullying players into actions they may not be comfortable with.

Yeah, was struggling to log onto Rangers tickets to buy MyGers and it was frustrating me. Managed to get in after trying it 7 other ways and it's now bought.
