I've never come across class as being a barrier. If Defoe want to do something personally then that's fine. However the club should not be supporting an organisation like BLM UK due to their policy of wanting to defund the police or supporting Palestine. Do you believe that Rangers should be supporting the defunding of police or an anti-Israel/pro-Palestine agenda? Should they be involving themselves in Israeli politics? Spoken as a man. Would you find it amusing if you were a woman and a guy with a dress on was allowed to walk into the same toilets as you?

I'll be heading to the Louden to see the game, and have my first pint in months....can't wait! ?

gersnet article (image) Can Kai Kennedy play his part this season?
Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I think he can do the job of back-up to Tav. -
And what you've said demonstrates why Rangers should not have anything to do with them.

You don't have to sign up to BLM to subscribe to anti-racism.
-
Says who? Are people to pick and choose what parts of BLM the act of taking the knee supports? You are trying to define what it represents whereas others will interpret in a different manner. Who is correct? If BLM stuck to the one issue of anti-racism then it would be more straightforward but they have not, and therefore support of them as an organisation goes beyond the support of the anti-racism message.

How about "The Rangers"?

I don't believe Rangers should get involved with the politics of a foreign country. I don't believe Rangers should be supporting the defunding of the police. If you think the Rangers should just because of the feelings of certain players then fair enough.

The whole trans rights argument is really complicated, in my opinion. It's not something that I've given a huge deal of thought to, but I am in favour of them having some rights to an extent, but there is a line, and Gonzo's point highlights it. People should be able to live their lives as they want but people should not be able to pick and choose which toilet they use, Charloch's point also highlights the danger of adopting a specific organisation as a way to make a point, on racism on this occasion. English football and the media are going overboard in support of BLM, and there's an element of bullying in it. It was good to see some F1 drivers not willing to take the knee but show their support for anti-racism in another manner that wasn't in support for a questionable organisation like BLM.

Rangers should have nothing to do with BLM

Dreadful news. He's a great guy. My son attended his football school in Lanzarote on several occasions and he even bought me a beer in the Terrace Bar in Playa Blanca, and I had quite a few chats with him over the years. Let's hope the operation in Gran Canaria is successful. All the best Nissy!

Bluedell replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
My limited knowledge of Kennedy is largely based on the Wrexham game, where he was fairly anonymous for the first 80 minutes. He did come into the game in the last 10 when Wrexham tired but I didn't see anything that suggested that he should be pushing for a first team place this season. -

Even if the SPFL lose, the season won't be declared null and void. -

That may have been how it was used 100 years ago, but these days, it's used in regards to Celtic fans, and can generally be used without offence being taken. It's the same as the use of Hun. It may have been used as a derogatory term for Germans 100 years ago, but it's now used as a derogatory term for Protestant. In addition, it was clear in Craig's use what he meant.

Probably a 4-2-3-1 formation, particularly given we've signed Hagi. Failing that, 4-3-3, which seems to me to work better than the 4-3-2-1 that was used a lot last season.

Alan McLaren. Plenty of centre backs.

I'm sure his intentions aren't honourable or fair, but sometimes his questions can coincide with those that Rangers fans should be asking as well, as was the case here. We're asking the questions to ensure that the club is being run properly and with a genuine interest on what's happening within the club, whereas he's asking to shit stir.

Welcome to the site. To be fair, I think it's a fair question. The answer could be be that we're getting new investment. It's been said that the proposed new investment from the Far East is still on the table, but perhaps in the short-term, it's coming from Park/King. The other alternative is that it's the proceeds from the Morelos sale. I think that they see this as being a profitable venture and he'll be punted for a 7 figure profit within 2 years.
