  1. Not the first Rangers player's car to be torched either. The Green Brigade seem to be able to act with impunity.
  2. Still got a few:
  3. Just to emphasise one of the items that are on sale.
  4. If they are gone then that's good news, as they did seem effective at their jobs.
  5. That's my view too. Admittedly I haven't seen much of Middleton for a while but in his brief appearances he's impressed me slightly more than Barker.
  6. I'm basing it on his performances for our first team. A accusation that's also levelled at Barker. I'm not an expert in Hibs but that seemed more tactical than anything else.
  7. I went and watched it again. Hagi runs forward with the ball. Barker and Kent are both running forward. Barker runs yards off-side,, and I'm not convinced that wasn't deliberate. The ball gets played to Kent as the onside player. Barker starts jogging, there's contact between him and another player and he continues to jog, and never once looked like he was trying to get clear. J=He looks like he was always trying to keep a defender between him and Kent. The only plausible excuse I can think of was that he was knackered and didn't have enough energy to make a proper run. Maybe I'm being unfair on the boy, and obviously he's showing something in training, but Jones and Middleton both look better players.
  8. Did Fat Eck miss Barker jogging rather than sprinting to support Kent's attack around 60 minutes? I don't recall Hagi (or any other Rangers player) actively trying to ensure he's not on the end of a chance.
  9. It definitely needed freshening up, and brought up to date. Thompson, Nicholas and possibly Le Tissier had outstayed their welcome. They're just not relevant anymore. Are they being replaced by Micah Richards? I'd say that's a definite upgrade. I don't agree with positive discrimination but if people are getting there because they're doing their job to a high quality (and they're better than those that they're replacing) then what's the problem?
  10. There was the breakaway around 60 minutes where the ball was played to Kent rather than Barker. Barker had (deliberately?) ran offside then jogged while Kent was running up the park. He looked like he was hiding and didn't want the ball played to him. Unforgivable.
  11. Hagi may be a better option than Barker, given the Hamilton pitch.
  12. ...goes away to google "imprecation"...
  13. A wonderful definition of Messi
  14. Juve want rid of Ronaldo as they can't afford his wages so they're unlikely to take Messi.
  15. It's amusing how Lennon says that it's his fault and to blame him and then he goes on to say that the second goal was a defensive error, the forwards were to blame more than the defence and that there are some that were playing who don't want to be at the club and should leave. Way to take responsibility, ya smelly, bigoted rat!
  16. It's been reported that Dembele went for under £20m.
  17. Rangers 3 - 0 Kilmarnock FGS Itten
  18. Patterson seems a better player than Hickey. Very strange.
  19. Last Updated: Monday, 7 January 2008, 13:55 GMT E-mail this to a friend Printable version Ground ban for football hooligans There were no reports of trouble inside Dens Park Five football hooligans from Dundee have been banned from every ground in Britain after organising a street fight with visiting English rivals. The casuals were arrested after a pre-season friendly between Dundee FC and London club Millwall in July. Paul Barr, 20, Barry Greig, 25, Paul Hunter, 33, Alan Mearns, 33, and Paul Larnyoh, 37, admitted the charges against them at Dundee Sheriff Court. Barr and Larnyoh were also jailed for five and three months respectively. Greig was given a restriction of liberty order, banning him from leaving his home between 0700 GMT and 1900 GMT for six months. Hunter received a similar order applying between 2100 GMT and 0600 GMT for eight months. Sentence on Mearns was deferred. You are precisely the type of people we don't want at football matches Sheriff Richard Davidson The court heard that only the arrival of police reinforcements prevented a battle between the rival football gangs. Sheriff Richard Davidson said: "In this city there has been very little football crime compared to other parts of the country, for which I am extremely glad. "I have to make it clear that there are very tough penalties for this sort of behaviour, which includes imposing football banning orders. "You are precisely the type of people we don't want at football matches." Casuals from Aberdeen and Edinburgh were also believed to have travelled to the city to take part in the street brawl, which was to have happened outside a pub close to Dens Park. Escorted by police The game on 14 July, which attracted a crowd of 2,385, passed off without any major incident. After the match, Millwall supporters were kept inside the ground to allow Dundee fans to leave. A group of about 60 Millwall fans were then escorted by police from the ground to the city centre train station. However, a group of around 60 Dundee fans rushed towards the Millwall group en route. The five arrested formed part of a disorderly crowd which shouted, swore and gesticulated, challenged Millwall supporters to fight and repeatedly incited others to attack the rival fans.
  20. Livingston 0 - 2 Rangers FGS Hagi
  21. Apparently Ajeti didn't have a shot on target during his whole time at West Ham.
  22. Me neither but apparently Gerrard is interested.
  23. I'd say it's OK. I use it to refer to groups of people of either sex....(although "either sex" can be pejorative these days )
