  1. Hateley was integral to most of that period and basically won the 93/94 season on his own. I'd have probably split it. The 92/93 team deserves recognition for what it did and is perhaps the greatest Rangers team that I've seen, but the 95/96 season with Laudrup and Gazza was also memorable.
  2. No Hateley?
  3. Albertz was played at left back early on.
  4. I just don't remember him playing. I have a vague recollection of seeing him on the TV, but can't remember him or Jardine well enough to include in my team. I saw a bit more of Jardine, but again, don't really remember his performances too well.
  5. Stevens. I realised my mistake and came on to correct it. Gazza? How could I forget him. He'd replace Gio. I'd like to get Mols in too, but he just didn't do for a long enough period for me. If I was to replace Albertz with a winger, I'd probably go Walters instead of McCann (or Cooper)
  6. Goram Stevens Gough Butcher Numan Laudrup Ferguson Gazza Albertz McCoist Hateley
  7. Gio at left back? Did he ever play left back for us?
  8. Would it stop the spitting on our scarves, the wiping of the noses on our corner flags, the hanging effigies, the use of the H word, the refusal to even say our name? No! There has been no respect shown to our club and that attitude will continue, no matter what we do. Rather than show respect and gratitude, Celtic and Lawwell would laugh at us for being weak, and continue to try and destroy us. There's no way we should hand Celtic the title.
  9. I do like a chilled white Faustino V or VII. Otherwise a white Burgundy.
  10. So you want to exclude members of the OO from your all inclusive policy? Bit of a contradiction there. It could be argued that the songs are from a loyalist culture. What's next? Should all loyalist/unionist/Protestants be banned from being employed by our club? As for the songs. We've heard them sung at away Euro games when Graham wasn't employed so it's really good nothing to do with him. I thought we'd got past worrying about people's religious beliefs as to whether they should be employed by us but obviously not.
  11. What chance does the guy have if our own fans are writing him off before he's in the door and prejudging his approach despite apparently knowing nothing of his abilities to do the job?
  12. Anyone who states that someone isn't suitable for a non-religious job because of their religious beliefs is a bigot in my book.
  13. If the new head of PR was a RC and a member of the SNP then the press wouldn't mention it. Apparently being a Protestant and a unionist is some sort of crime in modern Scotland that the press have to emphasise someone's political and religious views and suggest that they are unsuitable for a job because of it. Imagine the uproar if someone was branded unsuitable for a non-religious job because they were a RC and a nationalist. Neil Cameron is a bigot.
  14. I've got the original version, and I feel a bit short-changed in that there's been at least 2 updates since I bought it. I understand the rationale behind updating it, but I'm not wanting to buy it again when it's basically the same book.
  15. Murray changed it to Elior but a new contract was signed with them under Green IIRC.
  16. And presumably neither will "the club acting accordingly". As Craig points out, Gerrard is by far the most famous person we have. If we as a club really want to stop the league being awarded then they should be ding something about it now and not allowing celtic free reign in the press.
  17. I believe that this is the guy who regularly appears on the Heart and Hand podcasts.
  18. It's too late at that point, not withstanding your point. Coming out and complaining afterwards also has a lack of dignity. We either lose our dignity or Celtic get awarded the league.
  19. Gerrard won't come out in favour of a null and void season because he wouldn't want it to happen in England due to his beloved Liverpool and it'll harm "brand Gerrard" as he'd be accused of being a bad loser.
  20. I don't see it possible to extend the league. Teams will have players whose contracts are up at the end of the season. Come the end of May, or before, they are offski. Clubs may not have the resources to renew short term contracts and players may not be willing either. Opening the transfer window before 9 June isn't correct either as clubs can then buy themselves out of trouble. The whole thing is a mess and it just needs to be declared null and void.
  21. Sensible decision. I'm glad they've done it.
  22. Season ticket cash paid by credit card is released proportionately by the credit card companies after each game, so it's still got an impact on us.
