It's all very well being snide and dismissive but the key point is that Keltic lured a high profile manager who could facilitate signings like this. We need someone with a decent status who could do the same. Frank de Boer springs to mind as one with his contacts. Can't see Billy Davies or McInnes doing what Rogers did.
