  1. Well we need to get a new squad together for the next campaign. You can't just put a team together out of nothing, especially a world cup team. Wallace and Barrie could be first picks.
  2. What must this do to the confidence of Jordan Rossiter? He would have expected to be a starter in our midfield. Barton reminds me of the Terry Hurlock signing.
  3. So much for him being touted for the Blackburn job!
  4. Holt, Rossiter and Halliday has a nice ring to it, with a right and left footer either side of the right sitting mid. Rossiter. With Forrester, Waghorn and McKay almost certain to make up the front three I wonder how Crooks and Windass fit in - and how often.
  5. I'd like to think if he was a Hibs fan we would still join in; we have to rise above some things, for the sake of dignity. This club used to be synonymous with that concept.
  6. Depressing. The mindset of football in this country has to change. At least MW is starting to do that.
  7. Just how many first team games has he played? Acc. to one source it's four plus his debut appearance in the Capital 1 cup v Middlesborough when he scored. (Think that was the 'talkin'baws' source.)
  8. Maybe the question should be asked: are we the same supporters?
  9. Well, two footballing centre backs hasn't worked. Hanley is young, has time to improve. He's certainly not rubbish.Problem is he's right-footed but plays as a left centre back for Blackburn and Scot. So would that mean the end for Wilson? Can't see he and Hanley together.
  10. I've seen him described a s a midfielder but we are not short in that department. Anyone know his proper position?
  11. 'Waldo' for Godsake! Is he such an intellectual that they named him after Ralph Waldo Emerson?
  12. McArthur is a Gers fan who is essentially a defensive mid. Couldn't afford him though.
  13. Dorrans is a great player. Career has stalled a bit but I see him as more of an attacking midfielder.
  14. The thought of losing him is enough to send me into a fit of depression, like when we lost Souness. I think if we make into Europe he will want to stay.
  15. Exactly. Thought that was his best game for us. He brings composure and rarely gives the ball away - think I saw him do it just once when he ran it over the line. He fits in with the footballing style we are trying to play. We don't need destroyers for most of the games we play.
  16. Sorry - who are you taking about here? Who was interviewed?
  17. You can't just switch form on and off like a tap; if winning is a habit, so too is losing and we've played a strong team to try to get a victory so we don't get ring rusty.
  18. That's interesting; funny how stereotypes remain. I'm forever, in England, trying to face down the Harry Lauder 'mean Scot' caricature.
  19. Totally unrelated and off topic I know but, living in Holland, how do you feel about the prospect of the old country 'Brexiting' as they put it? Will you feel cut off? Don't you think you should have a vote as an ex-pat?
  20. Is Logan touting himself for a move to his former manager, MW? We need cover for Tav. after all.
  21. Wallace and McKay a double for me.
  22. O'Halloran was impressing in the SPL where we are now headed all season before we signed him!
  23. Liked the Greg Stewart goal and hope he joins us. But voted for Barrie obviously.
  24. Celtic have one of the poorest and most socially disadvantaged fan bases in British football, yet they still refuse to sign up to the national living wage campaign for their lowest paid employees. Tells me all I need to know.
