  1. Damn, thats another football-less weekend coming up. Given that it's only Livingston & St Johnstone, no crowd (spares the blushes of a 10K crowd at Hampden I suppose) and even less of a tv audience, can they not just flip a coin to see who wins or if they really want to play it, fit it in on a free midweek?
  2. I believe more and more people are seeing it for the worthless bauble it is. It has been of absolutely no value in my eyes since 2005, when it was jointly awarded to John Hartson & Fernando Ricksen. Hartson was about the 3rd or 4th best player in the tims team that year, and Ricksen probably 5th or so best player for us. I'm pretty sure neither player won their own club's award that year.
  3. Man U v Liverpool was a much better affair this time round than the borefest of their league meeting. Not a fan of either club but that was an entertaining watch (on mute and missing out the pre & post match stuff) with United deserving their victory.
  4. Hagi for me, he was everywhere. Look at Jack’s goal as an example, he is involved from our box to their box with nice simple crisp passing and moving. Kent was more like himself, Aribo was sublime, Borna got 2 assists and his quality of crossing was back to his normal standard, and I thought Helander was superb at snuffing out a lot of their attacks before they begun. He is top quality and I hope we keep him fit till May now. The trick now is to repeat this level at Easter Road.
  5. Very honest as usual from big Yogi, although he has dark side tendencies he is just a real football man who usually tries to get his teams to play good attractive football.
  6. Is it possible to send this to Clive Lindsay at BBC Scotland to let him read what actually happened at today’s game?
  7. Wow, having just read that I’m amazed we managed to get over the line today and emerge with 3 points. That really is quite shocking, laced with bitterness and inaccuracies. Pretty much a typical BBC Scotland Rangers story.
  8. Looks like Wednesday’s opponents are going to be on a downer, currently 2-0 down .
  9. Because it’s the only way they can stop us, and nothing is beneath that morally corrupt cabal. I agree I don’t see it happening either but I’m running out of ways to not start celebrating!
  10. The only thing that can stop us now is a null and void corrupt decision from Peter. We played 29 games last year, 25 so far so the sooner we play another 4 league games the better. I would hope we can arrange a league game for next weekend, there must be an opponent we still have to play with the same situation as us?
  11. Another 2 assists from Borna today from corners and both centre half’s scoring, superb stuff although it has to be said County’s defending is as bad as I’ve seen in the league this season apart from big Duffy and the bhoys
  12. That’s how to do it! Jack on pitch 6 minutes scores after a 30 pass move, compare and contrast to Brown in midweek on 5 minutes and red card!
  13. That's all good and well, but I thought the winners of the Europa League got automatic qualification through to the group stages of the Champions League? #notgettingcarriedawayatall
  14. After 5 months of 2 games per week, this dropping down to 1 game per week is making the week excruciatingly long!
  15. Yes, the players definitely do. Us mere fans though, we are allowed to dream and believe and count down the games we need to secure this most magnificent of titles and our most significant and important since 1987. With what we have been through in the last decade, we really need to enjoy this one, so no harm in counting our chickens at this stage (55 of them!)
  16. Yes Davis the standout today by some distance. Says it all that Itten probably next best for the well taken goal, the rest of the starting 11 were below the standard set this season.
  17. What I would give for a wee half pint in any of those establishments at this point. Even the less enlightened ones! However wee nippy’s “short sharp action” on 9 October is neither short nor sharp and shows no sign of an end in sight. How did we manage to get such incompetence running our country and our football?
  18. Another point worth making is that we now have only 6 away games left, with 8 home matches. We are 11/11 at home.
  19. Sarcasm doesn’t always come across well when written. By now the bheasts were supposed to be neck and neck as we always capitulate in January. I thought that was a decent point after a poor first half.
  20. We need 8 wins from our last 14 games to lift the title (as long as we beat the bheasts twice!) And that assumes the bheasts win their other 15 games, which they wont. If you say they will draw at least 3 of those games, we need to win 6 of our last 14 games. Anyone getting excited yet?
  21. Agree with that, on another day either Goldson's header goes in, someone is there to tap in Tav's header back across goal, or Defoe's late shot goes in. Wasn't our day but didnt lose.
  22. Indeed, 14 games to go and a healthy lead still intact.
  23. That performance was nowhere near good enough, but we found enough to not lose the game and pick up a point. We match our rivals result and one less game to play. I always thought Fir park was a tough place to go until I heard the stats on Sky that we havent lost there in the league for a very long time which surprised me. I'm sure SG will have them well drilled through the week, as we certainly need to improve on that performance. Onwards and Upwards towards 55.
