Not sure how you would define natural talent. But I do know that Boyd has a tally of goals that Fleck will never equal. Anyway, one is gone and the other is arriving, which now makes Fleck the more important of the two.

I wouldn't like to get involved in who did or didn't offer what and to whom. I'm just making the observation that the Founders Trail isn't promoted on all Rangers websites and asking why. It just seems strange is all. I posted on FF for many years but became increasingly uncomfortable when the unexplained bannings grew commonplace and it became obvious that those running the show had a party line and wanted it toed. Multiple bannings and identities later I gave it up for a bad deal and moved elsewhere in search of some sort of free speech. The fact was (and remains) that there is a choice these days that wasn't always there. There are now much better places to debate and gain information. Besides which, I prefer Rangers websites where I believe the membership is made up of Rangers supporters and the admin don't act like gestapo propagandists. Given the numbers that have left these last few years, I'm obviously not alone.

Why is everyone trying to persuade me that it's unimportant who sits on the committee? It was a fairly basic question to find out who is involved and the only surprise to me is that it isn't out there already, to be seen without asking. The qualification about Iain McColl's motivation was entirely unnecessary as no one is suggesting otherwise for one second. The reason for the question was to try to understand why, apparently, this isn't promoted openly on every Rangers website, as was mentioned earlier in this thread and which is a real shame. However, I'll send the email as you suggest.

Good luck getting answers to that one mate.

Agreed. I don't know much about the Plus market where Rangers shares are traded but I think the interest here is what it says about the Rangers balance sheet..... if in fact it says anything at all.
-
I don't paricularly agree but, yes, that pretty much makes your point without being abusive towards the people who wear the colours. Unless of course you want to discuss Kenny Miller ... just joking.
-
Somehow, it's quite depressing to see Rangers supporters describing Rangers players as "pish".
-
I don't know anything about the transaction but 25 pence per share is pretty devastating..

I'm sure those involved, like many others would like to "make sure" by concluding any deal before the budget statement on 22nd June. While business gains may well be treated differently, the prospect of 50% capital gains tax isn't something to take chances with, especially in these very unusual times. I'm quite sure this will dictate the working timeframe more than anyhing most things. Personally, I doubt if business CGT will reach anything like income tax rates. I doubt if there will even be any change until next April .... but I wouldn't bet the inheritance on it either. You wouldn't believe the panic to complete throughout the M&A sector at the moment..... a great time to be buying.

I've been clean for two over two years now. Nothing would persuade me to get back on the FF again. Of course there are inevitable moments of weakness, times when you wonder what No 8 or Deedle are saying, or who Bearwood Bear is having a go at. But you just know that your own sanity is at stake here and you just say NO. So come on, tell all about these lapses into reality and who is being threatened by who.

Actually, the cricket and wine was a relief from the unsubstantiated rumour-copying and that started this thread. Well, the cricket was anyway.

It's a shame everything ends up like this. The Founders Trail sounds a brilliant idea.
-
I'd have thought this should have been above the usual tribal grunting .... I can't understand why they'd not want to advertise as far and wide as possible. Maybe if we knew who "they" were it might provide some answers of course.

Much more talented? Away and watch him at easter Road then cos that's where he'll be playing his football. Do you see it as enhancing your fairminded credentials to publicise an ex-scum Hibs player as "much more talented" that guys who have just won two SPL titles?
-
I'm reminded I asked previously if anyone knew who sat on the Founders Committee but I've never seen an answer posted. Anyone know?
-
Oh aye, let's fill the place with celtic players and pretend it doesn't matter. "Fuck his celtic connections" ... that'll be right.
-
When I saw the thread title I was sure it would be Russell Anderson. But if it's Lee Miller then the club is still on the way downhill.

If you say so.

Nah, it's just more evil bollox. But Barry Ferguson? You've lost me altogether now. Or is it Barry Manilow? Gareth Barry perhaps ... or Kevin Barry?
-
What is the imposting of which you speak? And how come I'm getting pigeonholed with Old Uncle Wabash? All I've done is agree with him when he's right.
-
Yeah, fark off sharpish. We'd just called for the heavy roller when you and your wine pals stuck your corkscrews in. This thread isn't big enough for two hi-jackings and you don't mess with the barmy army.
-
I want this evil man banned pro tem for his bollox

Tbh it was about time someone did. Many England fans would like to see the back of them too.

You're right. After all GS is the RST and the RST is GS. So is Wabash playing a clever double bluff after all?
