I have absolutely no inside track and don't know where this is heading .... but If I were a betting man I would be backing Mr Cannonball's interpretation right now. If Mr Ellis had been capable of calling any shots, they would long ago have been called - but that wouldn't have suited Murray at all. It has all the hallmarks of a useful diversion that was never meant to go anywhere.

Rangers pull out of friendly with Celtic in Boston
maineflyer replied to Gazza_8's topic in Rangers Chat
Very wise. -
Whatever Ellis is buying Rangers for, I have my doubts it's to develop the footballing side. The guy is a property developer, what more is there to understand?
-
More excellent stuff from Mr Winter. How come being a cheating bastart is now a sectarian matter?
-
The point of Murray park id not to develop players for Rangers but to develop player we can sell. Sorry, but it's true. On the whole, I believe players are either with us or fvck them.

Super Ally, I want to believe you posted that to cheer me up after the awful election performance of the Scottish Conservatives ... and you definitely succeeded. Thanks. Can there be a Rangers fan on the planet who listens to than and isn't inspired? I know I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I heard it on the TV. Allow me to reciprocate with another historical ditty.... Take a walk in by the Mermaid and you'll hear a famous noise "get out ya feenyan bastarts we're the Brigton Derry boys" We're the boys from the Toll and we're loyal and we're true and if we meet a feenyan we are ready for a do. With the cry of "No Surrender" you will know us by our noise, good luck to the Glasgow Rangers and the Brigton Derry boys

Beasley fears Ibrox departure. Maineflyer fears Beasley staying.

Oh my, closed up 150.47% on the day. Try getting that on the High Street.

Too late. First ever Nth Falklands Basin oil discovery announced 12.10pm today by Rockhopper. Hope you all took my advice.
-
Quick Quick. Now up 18% this morning and rising.
-
Ramper!:box: PS: Last chance to get on the Rockhopper bandwagon - I'd just like to thank Mrs Thatcher once again for keeping the Falkland Islands (and all that oil & gas) British.
-
Getting WAY off the subject, this is the best buying opportunity for months - it's time to top up and get your averages down..
-
Nothing serious this end. Nice try though. Unless of course you count the state of shares in junior uranium miners, which is beyond serious this morning and in dire danger of hurting one's pocket.
-
You probably want to be right .... but you're wrong, no matter how hard you want it to be otherwise.
-
Excellent question. I presume the answer must be no?
-
..... or it's already factored into the deal and now he really needs to make those targets? Either way, it seems like yet another arms-length attempt to manipulate the support and, judging by the posts on all forums, we remain as gullible as ever.

Still bitter after our pm exchange? It shows.

I'll try again..... 1. I didn't say VB are the only ones who do anything. Not ever. 2. I write clearly enough but that won't stop someone else taking from it what suits them. 3. If the hat fits...........

I think Bluedell usually manages well enough to speak for himself. He asked, I gave a clear answer, there was no problem that I could see. You, on the other hand, seem to need to jump in and stir it up, I wonder why? Anyway, I've got better things to do, squabble with yourself from now on.
-
That's the thing though, there were no attacks. Not beyond imagined ones anyway. I guess you tend to find what you go looking for.

Nah, post #61 is pure self-indulgence. I watch others do it and just wanted to see what it feels like to spout utter invention. It's amazingly easy to make it up but no one knows Ellis, let alone any shadowy figures clinging to his coat tails. Stick with wabash, from what I've read, he'll be closer to the truth than most.
-
I don't often post what could be described as rumours but I have it on excellent authority this afternoon hat there are two people associate with this intended Ellis bid who come into the billionnaire category, one of whom is a rags-to-riches lifelong Rangers fan.

S'funny, hard as I look, I can't see one example of anyone taking all the credit, least of all VB. Nor can I see even a single example of anyone saying that only VB writes letters or offers protest. So why all this feigned 'distaste'? It's always puzzling to see posters go on the defensive when no one's attacking them. Nowt as queer as fowk I suppose.
