    AFAIK, a shareholder (or group of them acting together) can only requisition an EGM after 12 months have lapsed since their last one.

    I didn't say that and it's not what I was talking about (or suggesting) at all trueblue. What I was suggesting was that with the staff, stewarding and policing costs of opening Ibrox last night as well as giving ICT their share of gate receipts, we might actually make more money from the Falkirk game even although the attendance will probably be just over half of what was at Ibrox last night. These days when you walk up Edmiston Drive towards the front door an hour before kick-off you're never sure if the assembled crowd is there to protest or try to get an autograph. Personally, I think front door protests would be a lot more successful in getting a message across and getting other Bears involved if they turned up 90 mins before kick-off and done their thing right up until the whistle.

    There's been a lot of exaggeration on this topic because even under completely normal circumstances the crowd for a 2nd round League Cup game like last night would typically only have been somewhere around 20k, possibly up around 25k on a good night, so given the current circumstances at the Club, only getting a crowd of 15k to 16k wasn't exactly unexpected when you consider that only just over 23k season tickets have been sold which is 13k to 14k less STs sold than last season.

    I hope RF holds onto every penny they have left and every penny brought in until there's a new share/rights issue because the share price is almost certain to be lower at that point than ever before.

    In fairness to yourself and other disabled fans Billy, the size of the waiting list for season tickets for the disabled fans must have played a massive part in forcing your hand.

    After admission of the Open Offer shares 300,000 shares would be about 0.37% of the company, so if pending payments will put RF over 0.5% it would be about 400,000 shares. Pretty loose calculations though because you're talking about pending payments which haven't been used to buy shares yet and the share price has been tumbling too.

    You're right, although most of our boardroom incumbents are unfit for purpose. The Easdale brothers and the pantomime chairman David Somers are a complete embarrassment and have treated Rangers fans with utter contempt.

    The price taking a hammering just now will only be dreadful for the Club longer term if the current regime (the people REALLY in control) use it to their own advantage and tighten their stranglehold on the Club or if another bunch of shysters who don't genuinely care about Rangers get control.

    You're right that the source is very unreliable because he gets a lot more of the rumours and information he's spreading wrong than he cares to admit. That said, he does sometimes get things right and have certain information before we do, so he can't be completely dismissed in the same way that McMurdo can't be completely dismissed either. These guys sometimes do spread solid info as opposed to their daily dose of innuendo and nonsense. Interestingly, they've both been sort of on the same page recently regarding Wallace, so either they're being fed information from the same source or one of them is pinching scoops from the other and embellishing the facts.
