4 million unsubscribed shares paints a very gloomy picture of this board and their puppet masters' prospects of raising large scale investment from the market again in their planned larger offer, especially when we consider that someone could easily have taken up the 4 million unsubscribed shares for as little as £800k. They really needed this offer to be fully subscribed.

Over the past couple of years there's definitely a lot of 'previous' for the folk running our Club slipping news in amongst other news in order to dilute it's effect. No doubt about it.

If it's found out that he's been paid anywhere near £500k there will be a storm.

I won't be surprised if it's paid to him as a parting gift in the very near future.

We know Ahmad was claiming £120k in legal expenses, so it's probably safe to assume he's been paid the legal expenses + a sweet six figure sum. I'd be very surprised if the settlement was for less than £300k.

After deducting the Letham loan (assuming he wants it back from this cash) and paying off Ahmad (& Wallace too?) it looks like we'll maybe have enough cash to pay the bills this month and next month, but that's not taking into account any currently outstanding bills which we're unaware of.

That is exactly what is needed TB. Like you, I wouldn't want to denigrate the efforts being made by BR & RF, but the bottom line for me is that the pocket change style of fund raising is only capable of reaching the 5% target in the short to medium term which if achieved, would only open up the opportunity to requisition an EGM (and no more than once every 12 months).

That's exactly my point and I think it's a reasonable train of thought considering their desperation to appear like 'good guys' (see Sandy's recent interview in the Record for recent evidence).

I do know what you were getting at, but I don't agree with you. If you want to continue to blame some of our fans for the total and utter mess our Club is in then I think you're either completely missing the point or you're deliberately missing the point in order to deflect away from the real issues & problems. Maybe it's time to get a grip of yourself and acknowledge that our Club is in a financial mess again because of con men, opportunists and severe corporate and boardroom mismanagement over the past 2 to 3 years since Green first strolled into Govan with his dog & pony show, big mouth and big money-grabbing hands. -
At the end of the day, they won't be taking up anything at all if the minimum subscription hasn't been met and if it hasn't, then the leak of the story about them investing £500k in the open offer was probably just another in a long line of their PR stunts.

That's what I thought immediately myself. Hard to believe the £500k figure is just a coincidence.

If true, then it's 2.5 million shares which is a hell of a lot more than their basic entitlement, as I think between the two of them they were only entitled to about half of that as their basic subscription.

Losing our highest earners doesn't equate to ending up with a team of teenagers at all. We could easily lose our top 10 highest earners and not be left with a team of teenagers.

Highest earners doesn't always equal best players at a football club and it certainly doesn't do so at ours just now.

I think 'transparency' is becoming nothing more than a slightly overused buzz word in all things Gers related.

I've just had a think about it and have to say your train of thought is very far fetched. It will take more than a 25 point deduction + losing our high earners from the playing squad to see us get relegated.
