  1. Yeah, I'd say that was a typo from him. Re the loan facility, it'll probably be a simple case of the original Laxey facility which was transferred to George Letham being left on the table by Laxey should it be needed, although you do have to wonder how comfortable they'll be about leaving it on the table now.
  2. You have to wonder what this "Unbudgeted Liabilty" was in relation to and whether it tipped the scales in Ahmad's favour, although as Craig rightly said, it was looking good for Ahmad even just with the wording used in the 'Open Offer' announcement to the Stock exchange.
  3. Aye, the journo from the BBC who was tweeting from the Courtroom was making typos and spelling mistakes all afternoon. He couldn't even spell Ahmad's name right.
  4. Even without Ahmad winning this case today, it seems like the Club would have been short of cash for paying the bills this month!
  5. I'm all for dealing in the here and now rbr, so how about we start by finding out why the Club supposedly can't get access to several million pounds owed to it by Rangers Retail Ltd?
  6. No surprise there if it happens. He'll be making an absolute fortune from the Rangers Retail/Sports Direct deal which Green & co gave him.
  7. We can only hope that Lord Stewart doesn't look kindly on Ahmad's hand-written letter from Green or that he's not keen on tipping Rangers into more trouble than it's already in.
  8. I think a lot of our QC's script was actually written by Graham Wallace in a sworn affidavit.
  9. I think we better hope that Lord Stewart is easily duped by our QC's rosy picture painting exercise this afternoon.
  10. I think the only thing you missed was my intended massive dose of sarcasm mate!

    Welcome Thread

Welcome to all of the new forum members!
  12. What about adding to the debate constructively as you so often do dB (same goes for others!) ?
  13. It shouldn't necessarily be in the public domain, but all clubs should always know the terms of the TV contract they're singed up to.
  14. gunslinger, I've made a new thread from the RST statement you posted and the resulting posts.
  15. Interesting pattern emerging with Ahmad and the timing of his legal pursuits too.... - Laxey & Easdale credit/loan 'facilities' announced and within days Ahmad is in Court looking for half a million quid. - 'Open Offer' of shares announced and within days Ahmad is in Court looking for half a million quid + £120k legal expenses.
  16. That raises an interesting point that the SPFL moving games to Friday and Monday nights etc to accommodate broadcasters like BT Sport and others will also have a fairly big impact on ticket sales because it's not just you guys in NI who it affects, it's a large number of RSCs, buses & traveling fans from across the UK who travel quite long distances. That's as sure a sign as any that there's some major problems which need fixed quickly.
  17. Truffle sniffing pig snouts = good Bluenoses who care about Rangers = bad
  18. I'd wager that it's a far more difficult & complex situation for Dave King than any of us appreciate mate, especially if he doesn't know the full extent of the financial wreckage that's been done since Green & co's takeover up until now, the extent of onerous contracts and everything else that we're currently seeing unfolding. As we've just witnessed with the news of the Ashley/Ibrox naming rights problem and the Rangers Retail/Sports Direct problem with £2.7m due to us, but supposedly tied up and unavailable for working capital, there's a situation where it seems that only a very select group of people know what skeletons are hiding in cupboards. How do you make plans if you're not 100% sure what's actually going on? Then there's the issue of some fans wanting less talk & more action from guys like Dave King and when he releases statements they criticise him for releasing too many statements. Personally, I'd be happy for him just to be going about his business quietly and sorting out a controlling stake whenever he feels the time is right, then once he's in there, start putting plans on the table and get the mess sorted out ASAP.
  19. Is that because they've all decided to try to starve the board out or is it due to various reasons?
