  1. Personally, I think Adam is an excellent player & he's gained a massive amount of experience in a short space of time. If he keeps his fitness levels up, I'd be delighted to see him play for us again.
  2. Pete, if they were THAT disappointed in his progress, they probably wouldn't have offered him a contract, so.......
  3. I'd have liked for us to hold on to him, but If he were to leave as he has done now, I'd have liked for it to have been to a bigger club than he's gone to. I honestly don't think that his move is a good one, but it was his own choice & it has to be respected. Lets see what happens with him, but I feel that if we offered him a new contract, he's done himself an injustice by refusing it, as he would have undoubtedly had his chances with us.
  4. Nothing perverted about being in awe at a hot women in a tight red dress showing cleavage.
  5. I respect his decision due to his desire to play first team football, but if we sell Fergie & Adam in this transfer window, there's nothing to say that Furman wouldn't have been looking at 1st team football. Edu won't be back for the start of the season & if we get one or two injuries, there's every chance that the likes of Furman would have had his chances to play for the club, potentially even in the Champions League. I wish him well, but personally I think he's made a mistake.
  6. I'm disappointed about this.
  7. The cleavage was hypnotizing. Half time was over & I hadn't been to the toilet or filled my glass.
  8. After his first post on this thread a couple of nights ago when he introduced his comments with "Three pages of fawning schmaltz", I thought it might be a 'hit & run'. The intention appears to be little beyond a desire to antagonize, as to use the words fawning & schmaltz together is for Maineflyer to be politely implying that forum members here were essentially kissing one another's asses over the present progress of the report, that people here were being excessively congratulatory to a point of vileness. It doesn't surprise me that he legged it after saying this. He was probably so pleased with himself that he broke out a big Havana reserved for special occasions like being successfully smarmy on an internet forum. :fish:
  9. If you'd sell Boyd for £3m you're a sandwich short of a picnic mate. 102 goals in 152 appearances for us. There's no chance that Lafferty could match that if given the chance. I don't think Lafferty is capable of anywhere near that sort of goal to game ratio.
  10. Could be a good thing then. In fact, you could be looking at 60% of the Scottish population having a collective stroke. Who said eugenics was bad? :fish:
  11. What makes you think you're right in your assessment? Please elaborate, as I'm curious. Is it anything to do with the fact that you want the club to be without almost everyone currently running it & the fact that basically that as a core starting point isn't addressed?
  12. Hardly an apocalyptic prediction Nostredame.
  13. Here it is. At last it was leaked:- :spl:
  14. I'd like to think so, considering what we paid.
  15. They've got several clubs making offers for Paul Quinn & they've got the out of contract Stephen Hughes being linked with a move to Aiberdeeen, although there's other interest in him as well. I think they're a club that aren't in particularly good financial shape, so they can't afford to pay for a quality manager. Is this Gannon any good then?
  16. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing that Motherwell are not only still without management, but also selling or willing to sell their best players? It's looking as if the steel men might WELL be without steel come their first European game next week. Players leaving all over the shop & no management for preparation for their European games is not good news for their Club.
  17. It's better than 'Walter out' or 'Walter GTF'. End of.
  18. Especially when he doesn't talk back. Just imagine how much fun his fellow match reporters & pundits have ripping into him every week about his terrible patter.
  19. RSS Chico must stay!!! I remember wondering what on earth was going on at first with those feeds. It's funny when people still talk to Chic as if he were actually a real person here even although they know it's an RSS feed & won't talk back.
  20. To be fair to the club on this one, I honestly can't even imagine what other route they could have taken that would have had any glimmer of hope. The RSA is really the only link between the fans & the club where a fan-based project like STS can be put on the table. It's due to the corporate nature of large football clubs like ours in the UK & even across most of Europe. In other parts of the world such as South America, you find even the biggest clubs being much more involved with the fan organizations for their club & vice versa, but that's a different footballing world altogether.
  21. This might sound harsh, but I'd personally rather we hold onto the likes of Furman than hold onto Fergie. Looking to & preparing for the future, we need the strength & enthusiasm of high quality youth like Furman & the younger players Walter's brought to the club. Fergie's wage could probably pay the salary of 3 players like Furman.
  22. I don't see why we can't give young players like Furman the promise of playing in most of our League & Scottish Cup matches, especially when we're going into the CL group stages. Beyond that, well he'd have to be realistic. Even if we get our 1st team squad trimmed a bit more as planned, there's still going to be half the lads not starting every week & we don't need players who will complain about not getting a game.
  23. Craig, that's not a confirmed signing, just the usual rumor mill stuff. About that long-winded name btw! The yanks just call him Gooch, so no mouthful. I'd love to see us dive in & pick this guy up on the free. Wonder if we could match or better the wage offer from Fenerbache. Anybody got Walter's ear?
  24. Ah, cheers. I didn't know that. He's not a free agent if he's signed for Fenerbache then eh?
