Do we get points towards the coefficient for the Falkirk & Motherwell away wins? Celtic fans will be raging if lower SPL teams keep getting wins away from home in Europe.

The insane thing is that Sky/ESPN will probably manage to sell the rights to enough foreign cable/sat/tv networks to clear their investment before Xmas.

They can do whatever they like though pete & the bottom line seems to be that we've been short changed even more than we normally are for SPL TV rights. The 30 ESPN games are apparently going to be available separately both on Sky & on other networks such as Virgin, while you need a Sky sports subscription to be able to watch the other 30 games. If that's the case, then Scottish football has just been duped imo, but you can be sure that the suits & men in black of Scottish football won't be down on their wage packages.

Guys, I think you'll find that you might only get the 30 games which Sky bought the rights to if you have a Sky Sports package. The games which ESPN have bought the rights to will apparently be an extra subscription of about �£9. I read on RM that all the OF games will be on Sky, but basically if you want access to all 60 games involved in the deal, you'll apparently need both a Sky Sports package/subscription and ESPN add-on subscription. Shoot me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've read & imo it's a load of bollocks if that's the case. I hope that's not the case because then basically Scottish football subscribers would basically be paying more money to watch Scottish football while less of the TV money goes back into the game.

Jon, the fans can debate Boydy all they like, but there won't be any debate for the club. - They'll more than likely not set up a new contract atm, as that scares off potential buyers. You never know. Someone could come in with a silly money offer. If it was �£8m there's no chance the club would knock it back. - They'll wait until December & if Boyd has been playing well & banging in the goals, they'll offer him a new contract. Even if he hasn't been on top form, they'll likely offer him a contract extension to avoid losing him for nothing (at least we'd hope that would be the case). -

I bet that's the REAL reason that JJB aren't stocking our new strip in the Argyle Street shop right away. They'll be hoping to offload most of the old stock in their sale. Shocking sports chain, totally shocking.

Frankie, many of the reactions to Spiers articles are definitely bigoted on the FF & RM forums, but my point wasn't to vilify the response to his articles, more to point out that perhaps there's Bears out there that don't realize they're playing into his hands & the hands of those like him. This I think, is a very valid point. I'm far from being in a position to call anyone a bigot on a Rangers forum, but that's due to the fact that on most forums I'd make myself an outcast simply by suggesting the fact. On FF I'd be cast out as a t*m or a ta*g, on RM (which I prefer to FF) I'd be branded as a more politically correct 'bad smell', 'dubious character' or 'someone in need of being watched'. Despite the fact that these matters don't keep me up at night, I've got to say that it does bother me that we have a bigoted & sectarian element in our club that are taboo to talk about, simply because of what is (IMO) complete denial. I do respect everyone's opinion though.

No idea what your point is, as neither Pete or myself commented on spelling. We both just tried to help with re-phrasing sentences that didn't make sense in English.

There's a few commas missed here and there, but other than that, the main thing I noticed was this sentence:- IMO, it would read better as:- "This brings me to our forwards, which based on last year's performances when we were playing two up front, practically picks itself." Good stuff mate.

Sorry lads, but it's actually Spiers who's the angler & imo he's actually pretty accomplished at it. I hate to say it, but he's almost becoming an expert at bringing out the worst in online Bears with the publishing of a single article (referring to the use of foul language and real bigotry in response to his articles across the forums). It makes me sick to see so many Bears taking his bait. Calling him all the names under the sun won't make this 'person' go away. In fact many of our online responses to his drivel actually justify his warped writings, which is a fixable problem.
