Gutted I missed this game. I like the way AZ play their football and I love seeing anyone beat Newcastle cause of their twat of a manager.

What gets me is that every Rangers fan seems to be labelled scum by the media.

One positive under PLG was that he got us winning home and away in europe. OK, they weren't against any big teams but a win away in europe is tough going these days. Just ask Walter Smith and Wee Chesney. Look at Alex Ferguson at Man Ure. He struggled at first but came good in the end. Who knows how PLG would've got on if he had stayed. One thing that I didn't like about PLG was the way he left us. Sign of a coward!

Well spotted Fraser. I wonder if Rangers will pick up on this. I doubt they'd get chucked out though, UEFA have much more important things to worry about like a few Rangers "fans" singing songs about kaffliks to bother about teams cheating.

Under PLG we scored goals away from home. Under WS it doesn't look possible to create any chances nevermind score. Like you said in another thread Cammy, PLG moulded a Lyon team together who more often than not made the last 8 of the CL. For a club like Rangers not to finish in the top 3 of a 5 team group is unacceptable especially after having maximum points after the 1st 2 games. I think PLG should still be in charge of Rangers.

I'm saying that in europe WS is out of his depth. I'm also saying that PLG knew how to play the euro game and did it well. AM did OK in europe. He got us into the last 16 of the CL but also got us pumped out of the UEFA Cup due to his shocking tactics and team selection against Auxerre. Personally, I think that if PLG was in charge for the Osasuna games we would've gone through.

Prso needs to start. What's WS got against him? I thought he was just keeping him fresh for the 1st leg against Osasuna but he wasn't. I thought he was maybe keeping him fresh for the Celtic game but he wasn't. I stupidly thought again he was keeping him for last night, which he wasn't. He's fit so play him Walter. I'd drop Ugo and bring in Svensson. Another shitty below par performance from him last night.

We know what's going to happen in europe next season and the season after and the season after - pumped out in the early stages as per usual. We may well catch Celtic up in the league but I also want a decent run in europe and under WS that ain't going to happen. Am I asking to much wanting to do well in europe AND win the SPL?

Every team who we play in europe looks so superior to us with their passing and movement it's unreal. We panic when we have the ball while the likes of Osasuna always look to play the ball out of defence into midfield and their attackers make promising runs down the wings to create space. We do none of that. WS has to do something in the summer - leave!

I hit the 'reply' button about 10 minutes ago but sicne then I've been staring at a white blank, white screen, I'm lost for words and don't know where to start regarding the team. There's so many under performers in europe and WS can't get them motivated to do well.

12 games undefeated prior to WS taking charge and in his 4 euro games in charge he's been beaten twice. He just can't hack it in europe. There's no point us turning up to matches in europe cause we all know what's going ot happen.

Needs to perk his ideas up. That's 4 games now we'sve struggled to create any chances. We got lucky against Hibs, their keeper is shit. The home leg against Osasuna was probably the worst performance under Smith since he came back to manage us. Our goal against the mhanks came from a set piece. Novo had a half chance which again came from a set piece. Tonight, apart from Rae's chance we created absolutely nothing and even at that his chance came from a fuck up by the Osasuna defence. His choice of tactics in big games is killing us. Long balls upto either Novo who will always lose out in the air to the centre backs, Boyd who is pish and can't trap a bag of cement and Sebo who doesn't really know himself what he's going next doesn't work. Why can't WS see this when every supporter up and down the country can?!?! I was against WS coming back to manage us when PLG left because of his piss poor record in europe and it looks like nothing new has changed - same old pish every game. We'll be laughed out of the CL if we make it that far next season. Pissed off and raging Loyal!
