Match Thread [FT] Rangers 2 (Dessers 13'; Cerny 24') - 1 Motherwell
Fa1833 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Today's game could have been better but it was 3pts ! Let’s hope Clement is still “Experimenting” Dessers work rate is always good so no issues there loving Ridvans play at the moment hopefully he keeps that up , Like some have said we definitely need a Hagi or Cantwell in that space behind the Scottish Terrier Barron he was everywhere chomping at people winning possession back and pushing us Forwards exceptional, Diomande at times seems to frustrate me I’m starting to think he is like marmite some times I love it when he plays but then other times it’s like when you add too much and you ruin the whole thing, Cerny was good with his link up with Tav and not afraid to cover the space and his goal was sublime , One thing that honestly seems to frustrate me is why isn’t Jefte playing as a LW and Ridvan LB ? Scott Wright played half decent few nice runs into the box, Matondo yet again Head down and just runs i would have happily have seen Jefte on in his place, Apart from the OG I thought Propper showed glimpses of good things to come with his Work rate and his nice little flick from the edge of the box that John Souttar fluffed up . ♥️🤍💙 -

I remember as a kid growing up in Renfrew when the Rangers football team trained in the open fields where the new Renfrew gym is near Paisley Road, Gazza, Laudrup, Mcoist era and Walter drove up I'm gonna say a Blue Mercedes may have been a BMW and parked up and would give me and my m8 a quid if we looked after his car, The first team on the other hand after they finished with the training they headed back onto their buses and one of the local women, banged on the bus until a few got out and signed some autographs rememberMcoist getting out 😂 needless to say I don't think they came back, That memory has stuck with me since I was a kid maybe 8/9 at the time only a small gesture but a massive part of my memory of being a youngster roaming the streets in Renfrew coming across the great Walter and the Famous Glasgow Rangers! 🔴⚪🔵

Connor Barron displayed maturity beyond his years, anchoring the midfield with precision. His ability to break up play and distribute the ball effectively was amazing in keeping Rangers in the game. Barron's defensive duties I thought were often overlooked, as he tirelessly tracked back to support the backline which wasn’t picked up on RFTv or I didn’t hear them say too often ♥️🤍💙

P%ss take, id say the only good point was we didn't get humped ! Cortes is out injured again, Wright 0 Lawrence 0 Davies 0 Matondo 0 Barron probably was our only main man even with that I’d give him a 5/6 and Diomande is a liability soon as he loses the ball he is taking the player with him that attitude every time he loses could cost us dearly especially against more stronger teams , Leon Balogun saved us a fair few times and new boy looks half decent, Dowel looked good especially the last part of the game pity he only gets 10 mins here and there 🔴⚪🔵

Seriously does need looked into as there is no way in 🤬 when we signed Lammers we where securing a top talent and I’m guessing just on pure luck he didn’t come with commercial partners who offered us lucrative deal's like Bellingham does with Adidas 🤣 someone does need to explain the situation with the high wage packet’s definitely Gonzo 👍 -

The decision to prioritize youth over experience hinges on the club's long-term goals, finances, and the manager's assessment of the squad. Is this a new era of youth over experience? Whether Sterling can solidify his position at right back and Jefte can take over from Barasic remains to be seen, but Jefte's attacking ability is undeniable. While TAV brings experience and attacking prowess, the club might be aiming for long-term stability by investing in younger players. This strategy requires patience from us the fans as the youngsters develop, like young Barron and Diomande in central midfield. The financial situation also plays a key role. Hopefully, the club can address this issue soon. Selling players like TAV, Goldson, and Hagi could mark the beginning of a new chapter for the club. Should we the fans continue to support the manager's vision/ Story ? He has been transparent with us so far, or at least that's the impression I get. -

Yes true in Tav point I don’t have an issue either but as PC has said he aims to make profit on players he signs before they leave for free ! What’s to stop every player we sign from now on doing the exact same thing ? Is this the new age of footballers mentality when signing for a club not to give a return at the club you have spent your time at for so many years. What else can we do if this becomes the norm surely someone has to have a plan at Ibrox? -

Sack the lot of them 🤬 , Yes we are seeing more and more players throughout opting to leave their old club for free like Mbappe for a larger sign on free but surely that’s down too bad management ? If Rumours are said to be true about TAV and he has so long left on his contract your telling me he wouldn’t want the club to receive a fee that benefits the club, someone has fingers in pies and is pulling the strings the same way they did with Alfredo and Kent 💯 -
Let's hope that wasn't a Spanish shirt. Mbappe had at half time 😂 for his sake, wonder whose shirt it was? £10 is Yamals

Found this and it made me laugh 😂 let's hope we got it right and he flourishes as he does indeed look like a hot prospect. https://www.google.com/gasearch?q=hamza igamane&tbm=vid&source=sh/x/gs/m2/5 * Apologies I can't seem to get the correct one It was from a fan of his previous club explaining why we need this young player going on Rangers stats and the Fact TAV was our top scorer. -
Sorry not been on in a while. Hope all is well, what's your thoughts on the disallowed goal? Here is me thinking VAR has been spot-on at making the correct decisions. I think the XAVI goal should have stood as the pundits rightly said there was no chance the keeper was getting to that or was he blocked? The ref should have looked at the monitor and made a decision.

Lammers has done it again 9 goals in 17 appearances if I’m not mistaken

I’d agree with that , I thought Ross was great again played with his heart on his sleeve but Todd just edged it for me.

Match Thread [FT] Hearts 3 - 3 Rangers (McCausland 52; Cantwell 69; Silva 79)
Fa1833 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I’m sure I counted Tav not clearing the box on 4 separate occasions in the space on 2 mins, on the other hand it was quite good to change the game up today with Cantwell and others taking the corners and not our usual predictable play. Let’s hope we have a massive clear out indeed CB top top Priority 🤜🏼♥️🤍💙 -
