  1. This whole episode is becoming more and more murky.
  2. Several weeks back I thought I had a handle on how Whyte was playing it, now I am more than confused. When hmrc moved to admin us on Tuesday I thought they had lost the big case and wanted us for the 9mil.Now I am not sure about any of it
  3. Ally speaking to chinless dung
  4. Something fires off in my brain whenever I hear or read anything about lennon. I don't believe a single word he say's. If we beat the scum 6-0 and lennon said on the after match interview that the best team won I would still call him a lying bastard. I can't help myself.
  5. Ally has certainly had his problems and they are well documented. My main problem with Ally was the happy chappy one, where he was too pally etc etc. I suspect the seriousness of our situation might prove to have a very positive effect on him. Well said Ally.
  6. Really interesting that the first tier tax case can be negotiated prior to the judgement
  7. I honestly don't know at the moment. I have heard things which ,if true, are a disgrace but I acknowledge that perhaps our situation left this course of action inevitable. As I said, I honestly don't know. The next couple of weeks will hopefully give us a better picture
  8. Think there will be a few names linked to us over the coming weeks
  9. Reading the club statement posted above by Little General it would appear that hmrc forced our hand. However,it states that "The Club did not want nor anticipate having to take this course of action today but had no option" This would suggest we would have taken this action at a later date anyway. I am going to refrain from Whyte bashing but I hope to God he knows what he is doing.
  10. If Gersnet is to be liquidated then can the admin run up huge bank debts prior to liquidation and spread the cash around the members?
  11. If the fans were to lose out financially then it could turn very ugly.
  12. Thats bad mate. There are so many complications to our situation I will be glad when the next couple of weeks are over and hopefully get a better picture of where we actually stand
  13. He's not a millionth as disappointed as we fans.As you say f off Murray
  14. Sorry, I misunderstood. My fear is that our club/company as it stands today will cease to trade and one of Whytes other companies will take over. Thats when I was meaning that we put in money. My mistake
  15. It certainly is a sad time in our illustrious history. I have many reference points that I can clearly remember over the years following our club.In years to come this episode will be one of them.
  16. I don't think putting money into our club at the moment is a good idea. I suspect that Whytes plan -if he has one- is for us to have as little assets as possible. After the dust settles and we see what is ahead then I would certainly put some money in.
  17. Not a lot I can add to what has been written in this thread. I hope Whyte knows what he is doing. The next few weeks are going to be crucial.
  18. I know where you are coming from but I actually feel more numb and empty than hysterical. A sadness and a feeling of hopelessness. It's going to take a few days/weeks to get an idea where we are headed/what the future holds. Perhaps No Surrender has never been more appropriate. As I said before. I just don't know
  19. Don't post on the site very often but I came on to get a balanced non hysterical view of what is going on. I believe this has been Whytes plan all along and perhaps there was no other option. Perhaps Whyte is the man to sort us out? I simply don't know. The coming days/weeks will be very interesting. Perhaps Whyte has put enough of our assets out of harms way to enable a phoenix company to be liquid and stable.. Today is a sad day
  20. Good blog. It has become ridiculous but so obvious where the medias allegiances lie.
  21. We would have had to respond in this manner at some point. With a new owner the press will have been pushing the boundaries, testing how far they could go. There will be plenty more negative stories about us in the coming weeks and months but perhaps the club/Whyte have drawn a line, beyond which there will be action taken.
  22. They have seen a drop in merchandising sales which is nice.
