  1. That scenario is certainly plausible T4C. But i tend to think Wallace is piggy in the middle there, a convenient fig leaf for all parties. Trouble is if Wallace tries to flex an independant muscles too far either side of the middle ground. One or the other parties will lob of his appendage or remove him altogether from the scene a la Mather.
  2. Not in the least surprised by this development, the wigs and members of the board have a history of deceivement.
  3. I know four who have renewed, but i know about twenty who are not renewing.
  4. There was to be a protest at the last home game, but that was canceled in respect of Sandy Jardine. I think it was another red card display, but don't quote me?
  5. Agreed the 1872 ST campaign was/is to secure the above assets. But what about the other concerns, does everything now stop because one campaign had a result. What about the SOS aim of removing this board, does that end? i await a statement.
  6. TBO that was my original thought. but then again i'm just rank and file.
  7. I don't understand your thinking that the supporters grievances was only about securing Ibrox and Murray park? As you know there have been many debates (which you have joined in) on here and elsewhere about lots of our concerns, this was only one aspect.
  8. Easy answer to this then, if their position is untenable, they should leave.
  9. I joined the Sons Of Struth when they had the meeting in the Louden Ibrox, they wanted and still do want the removal of the Board.
  10. I'm not an organiser, i'm a foot soldier in this. I'll listen to what the UOF advise then make my mind up if it's the right course of action, so far i have been in agreement with them, SOS and DK.
  11. It's a war for the soul of our club for me, this is a stalemate compromise in one battle. It is a positive but not the end of the war. The club needs cleansed, they have had just a wash down imo
  12. If we can make any agreement watertight and legally binding, then that's a good step forward. But for me it doesn't end there,i don't trust them and never will and wont be happy until they are all gone. The board, Laxey, Blue Pitch and Margarita.
  13. Is that the best their new PR guru can come up with?
  14. Wholeheartedly agree PB, i said it was like looking at a Lion kill, the top predators have eat their fill, then left it to the scavengers, they are now picking at the bones.
  15. Will the UOF be counting the pledges given in with actual season ticket deposits, or will they be counted separately?
  16. Wallace was supposed to be the acceptable face of the Wigs, unfortunately for the Wigs Wallace made a complete James Hunt of the review. We Rangers supporters have been conned by the masters of sleight of hand , smoke and mirrors and misdirection, Wallace is a novice compared those con artist's, he was caught out very early. Nice try Mr Wallace but no cigar.
  17. I'm 57 but have the mental age of 15 (so the wife says) so i can look at it from both sides of the age divide, it's still gash lol
  18. Their Dunlop range is quality, one of my usernames on FF was Davie Dunlop before it got the chop, moi got accused of being tasteless huh.
  19. I always tell er indoors less is more, when she's buying me Rangers apparel. Many years ago she bought me the old rain jkt with the huge badge on the back, it looked like a dartboard didn't like wearing it, anything with a small crest or a small WATP is fine for my tastes.
  20. Looks like the scavengers are placing themselves closer to the kill , for a bigger feast.
  21. You're about two years too late with this summation SBS, The club had it's very own Gunpowder Plot. David Murray light the powder trail to Whyte, who subsequently sent the whole lot blowing sky high. IT ALREADY ENDED VERY BADLY, the looters and the grave robbers have been pouring over our remains ever since the explosion. The club supporters are picking over the same coals, to see if we can salvage anything. We have our history and tiles and a place in the SPFL but not much more. Unfortunately we the support are continually fighting amongst ourselves as to how best we can rebuild the club, that's how i see thing at the moment.
  22. Look the club needed to borrow some millions a few weeks ago, to tide it over till the season ticket money came in. Their season ticket money gravy boat is sinking fast, What are the board going to do about it? They say they have investors waiting in the wings ready to swoop in with the required investment. m y question is, why didn't they get this investment in sooner rather than going cap in hand to Laxey? There's a financial gully in the club and they need the season ticket money or loans to bridge it, no one is daft enough unless their a Rangers supporter willing to act as a bridge here imo. That's where Dave King comes in, but the board are deaf dumb and blind to act.
