    I take exception to the Handbag quote, suggesting we are all cross dressers is just incorrect. However if you had said we'll be jumping up and down in our Jimmy Choo slingbacks (the chenille ones with the diamante round the peep toes) i could agree.

    What alternative has Dk and the UOF offered those supporters who are refusing to renew their season tickets? The deadline for renewals is coming up and the season ticket trust doesn't seem to be in place yet. Unless those fans have an alternative in place soon many will just renew and if they do renew the season ticket trust will just sound like a wet fart. Tough talking and statements only go so far unless they are backed by actions as well, or momentum and ultimately trust will be lost.

    That's a fair appraisal imo. I've said this before about King but i could spend his money quit easily, but it's not my money. So unless i win the lottery soon all i can do is back his play, i don't own a season ticket but will put that amount into the season ticket fund, too show the board dave and I are serious.

    It was an lack lustre season tbo, the only thing of note was actually winning the league at a canter. But overall our football was mostly uninspiring against weaker opposition.

    I thought DK was going to war with the board, instead he's taking Churchill advice and Jaw jawing. This has been tried by the Requisitioners and proved to be fatal as a strategy.

    Our lone striker approach is too easy to defend against, lumping it in the general direction of Daly and hoping he's going to get on the end of it every time is wasteful imo. A target man is just that, a player that the ball must get to him, not somewhere way behind him or way short. There's far to much distance at times between Daly and wingers or someone who should be playing just off him as db has said.

    Agree db, the most basic of football philosophy for Dinosaurs is the long ball and lone striker tactics, we can't get either right.
