I read something somewhere last night that Forlansister asked Wallace some pertinent questions, can anyone confirm?

Super is between a rock and a hard place. at the same time walking a tightrope between the board and the support, anti-board and pro- board elements. Whatever he says or does is going to upset someone.

Bang them in Boyd next. Canny believe i've just wrote that, but considering the position the club is in Boyd and Miller are good acquisitions. Half decent defender and we should do the business in the Championship, anyone know what big Papac is doing next season?

Sports Direct refusing to take back my top
aweebluesoandso replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
Send it back to them anyway, with a copy of your receipt, if you still have it. Or a copy of your credit card statement if you don't have the receipt, with a cover note stating you are expecting a refund or replacement under the consumer act.- 31 replies

Some of the erroneous contracts by Green and Ahmed, like the Merchandising one, where the club gets very little financially out of it. Will take some time to clear out unfortunately.

It was explained to me in simple terms by a very clued up Bear, at the last home game. Which i will echo, "There is a thread here to follow in our demise, it starts with Murray selling our club to the mercy of asset strippers, Whyte, who did as much damage as possible in a short time to rip out cash and moveable assets (Arsenal shares, PAYE and tax) Green then came in to strip us further before bolting, Merchandising contract, catering contracts etc, and to sell on the remaining big assets to hedge funds. Who then run the club with the board doing their bidding, whilst sucking us dry over a period before it ends with them selling or leaseback on the big assets Ibrox, Murray park, Albion car park, Edmiston House.

Football is the only business in this country where the customer is ignored, bypassed and marginalised. The product is poor and the match day experience is generally woeful, the only thing football has is customer loyalty, although that is diminishing. At the moment going to a game for the fans, is the equivalent of one of the big Supermarket charging you £20 for driving into one of their car parks. keeping you there for an hour, whilst the wee trolley guy with the limp berates you for having the radio on loud (sash bash) with the windows down, then the Supermarket gives you a punnet of out of date Strawberries on the way out.

The Mighty Wizard is living in an alternate reality
aweebluesoandso replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
Has the new code of conduct between Rangers supporters online etc been ratified yet? If not i'm in before the lock then. Merlin's opinion has been bought and paid for,so anything Mr McMental has to say has been scripted for him by Toxic Jack. Merlin should go back to selling spells and potions along with his Secret to earning millions. Just send him your ££££'s and he'll cast a spell and hey presto you're a millionaire, which begs the question why haven't the Rangers board sent him the money yet? The club wouldn't be in the financial mess it's in? That last question was rhetorical as we all know Merlin is as mental as Rasputin. -

I think it depends on how long it takes the supporters to undermine this board and the hedge funds determination to bleed us dry.

Bears giving up their season tickets after 30 years in protest, that's unparalleled. It's going to take something momentous to get these guys back. It can be done but it's going to take a while, i have always gone game by game, but when this board and hedge funds have gone, i'll buy a season ticket for me and my wee nephew who's ironically at this time is showing an interest in supporting our club. We must bring in the new generations to have any hope for the future.

I agree Hildy, i have queried this on FF with Mark himself. The standing joke there, which annoys the hell out of Mark is the "keep our powder dry" quote from him. his reply was that the 'Save Rangers' was purely an idea just to gauge the supporters interest, not to be set up? But think the Save Rangers was a great idea and could been a contenderf, as you suggest. Unfortunately it took a dive and was sacrificed for the price on the RFFF, which btw did a good job for the club and supporters saving our titles. However if those pledges had been given anywhere near the promises, then there could have been enough to give Green a run for his money, assuming D&P would have allowed any opposition to Greens offer.

I have fallen for the Elmer Gantry patter since SDM then Whyte, through to Green. I definitely fell into PT Barnum's theory of a "sucker born every minute" I lapped it up at the time then by the time i came to my senses my pocket had been rifled. I think it's about time i learned my lesson here. No more, to paraphrase a line by Elmer Gantry "As long as I got a foot, I'll kick back. And, as long as I got a fist, I'll punch back. And, as long as I got a tooth, I'll bite back. And, when I'm old and gray and toothless and bootless, I'll gum them till I go to heaven and this board goes to hell".

Nothing less than a hat trick of domestic honours, Scottish cup, League cup and Championship winners. Ok my medication for today hasn't kicked in yet, so i'm on a roll.

The Guinness book of Records credit Green, with the meeting most Rangers supporter groups worldwide, in a single season. But as we all now know, that was to talk bullshit and con supporters into parting with their cash, the new "Ready to listen" is just rehash of Green's "talk shite" tours with the same objective. Parting the supporters from their cash. All in my own opinion of course.

Time for the club (no laughing in class please) to nail these bassas to the floor, on our share of the TV revenues. If Dumbcaster is renegotiating the deal, then so should we?
-
Support the team, not the regime. Sounds right.

I never thought i would see the day Dumbcaster would admit to him and Regan kissing Timmy arse.
