I've resigned myself to seeing no new faces, although I am not happy about it hopefully the worst of the injuries are over. Unless there is a certain takeover .

14 team league for me is the way forward why the hell did they suddenly change their mind and now suggest a 10 team league? Austria is the only league I can think of that has a 10 team league.

I would like him to stay but I think he is a reasonably stubborn man and will retire at the end of the season. Was pleased that he stayed on last season as I was thinking that he would not stay on for another season considering he was working without a contract so to speak. He can be convinced to stay on but can't see it happening again.

We have a shot and feel if we have a reasonable fit squad, maybe with an addition or 2 that isn't cup-tied then maybe we could get through against Sporting.

In the past we have done rubbish against Wales well under the 2 worst managers in my lifetime in Vogts and Burley. We lost 4-0 or 4-1 under Vogts and 3-0 under Burley both results shameful embarrassments but unfortunately Wales actually have a reasonable group of players we have Darren Fletcher... We drew with NI as well which at home 2 years ago which is also not good enough. So I fear we may be last.

I didn't watch the video but isn't he a good set piece taker? If so, its something we are crying out for but I'm not getting my hopes up with him as he will move to somewhere with more money.

Tying down Naismith is good if it can be done. Miller I sort of thought he isn't really willing to accept a new deal, not sure if its because the manager is leaving as well..

The teams that got to the final in 09 and 10 are low end champions league teams barring Fulham. Shakhtar won in 09, Werder Bremen the losers. Atletico Madrid beat Fulham last year. Don't mind a bit of the EL.

Pardew is shit imo, bring back Shearer What a ridiculous decision his home form is crap. Although he did beat the biggest rivals 5-1 and gubbed an established top 6/7 6-0. Just needs to beat teams of lesser light 1 or 2 nil. However he has been touted for the sack for ages which is considerably harsh and foolish but thats Mike Ashley for you. Wonder what the Geordies make of it
