I don't want him to fail at all, I just don't like the team he chose, poor poor club imo. However it is the best area for his family I guess as they will be close by.

Boyd would be my 3rd choice striker if he was here. However he is not and Jelavic is looking the part and Miller currently is banging in the goals like Boyd did with us.

Yep, Bursaspor get a Friday match helping out the current Champions of their respective league. If it happened here there would be outcry and SFA favour Rangers, blah blah blah.

Weiss in my eyes has to play against Bursaspor otherwise it would be silly, we need some flair in the team to open up their defence. Grit and determination can only get you so far and we need something different. -
I'd say Chesney has 2 matches. Boyd obviously picked the wrong club and he will have to live by it, although he didn't sign a hugely long term contract but he will be 28/29 when his contract is up. I bet he is cursing his luck shame it hasn't really worked out for him and Thomson but I didn't really want 'Boro to go up.

If only we had the class and the ability of the Spaniards. Turkish football is a lot better than you think, Trabzonspor gave Liverpool a reasonable challenge in the Europa league and they finished 4th or 5th, mind you Liverpool were playing their reserves. I am not taking them lightly but I am hoping for the win but our European record recently has been poor, so give respect to all opponents. They are also Champions beating the big 3 in the process which is big cause it is the second time a Turkish clubs has won the league out with Istanbul.

Too much respect is given, 4-4-2 is needed with the best players on the park. We should not be looking to Bursaspor until the sheep game is over, players need it drilled into their head we need to get this hoodoo off our backs.

Glad he never joined, seems like a bloody poor mans Ronaldo, gayish look etc. Hope he enjoys his time on the bench/in the stand as Brian Laws hardly rates him even though he got a new contract.

Price tag and performances always means more pressure on the player and tbh Lafferty for his value has not done it enough on the pitch and has had a lot of cringe worthy moments in the Rangers shirt. Hopefully he will become good and consistent but he is on last chance saloon with lots of people after his Hibs sending off.

He did take a pay cut but he is nearly at his previous salary, tough times? Not for Mr Bain....

I thought Martin Bain took a cut in salary around the last time our accounts were released. Looks like his salary has gone up �£100k from the last reported figure I heard he was on. He has been running the club, in a way, while the chairman is away in America looking after his own interests, so he has done a good job. He has also been a better chief executive since Murray stepped down. I was not fond of him at all when Murray was around, bit like a yes man.

Depends if there is any reasonable offer for McGregor which there has not been. Except from a loan bid on the last day of the January window from Tottenham. It was when we could not replace him and the price was poor. Might not of been true but I do remember seeing that.

To answer the accountants question, probably with the CL income from this season not taken into account and it also covering all transfer fees and a net spend of only �£2m it doesn't look all that bad at the moment.
