Kenneth and Berra were not the way forward at the moment. Although Weir must have been told he will play otherwise it would be pointless calling him up. I did think Levein was looking in other directions for the future.

I have to cope with theae jealous sheep every day. Most are fine just a snide comment here or there but its easy to get back at them cause they are usually just pish. When they beat us last season they went on a brilliant run of not winning a match in 10 or 11 typical Aberdeen. -

I hope Weiss does well and produce what he was able to like yesterday on a regular basis. He does look promising but he will still need time to settle.

It was really was quite a stupid thing to do after Lafferty got done for it not so long ago.

He was persistant with the Jelavic deal and even being slightly clever by saying that we were withdrawing from the deal. I agree with Totti about selling good players for well below their valuation, it seems we snap the hand off the first bid however low.

Meh, don't really want to vote for either. Clemens Fritz goal was better for me. Its also the sort of sad thing timmy would do spend all their dole money on sad petty things like this..

He went to America to play college soccer. So started his pro career later than the usual players. I guess this has helped him prolong his career. Weir strolls the SPL but any CL striker/attacker with good pace can skin Weir with ease. Not sure how much more pace Webster acutally has than Weir but it could be considerable.

Argee with you about the tims signing, 609892782 midfielders and now they seem to be buying 2873872328 defenders. Quantity over quality it seems like last season summer and winter windows. I am optimistic about our signings and feel they could add something different but I do feel we still may miss a couple of the players we lost, personally I would say Novo and Boyd.

Sampdoria are still in by the skin of their teeth, managed to get a last minute goal against Werder Bremen otherwise they would have a mountain to climb. However back to Weiss, pleased that he signed for us. I can see him being used in the left wing position personaly, don't have any problem with that. I do worry that he may be benched for long periods like Aaron but hopefully not.

Delighted that this is over, however still worried about his medical could hit a snag or 2 ... Anyway, hope he hits the ground running. This is the type of signing I wanted, also pleased about Weiss. Been a good day for me today and many fellow bears. Bring on the title .

Maybe this a sort of negative spin... The way the Partick coach was going on about them they were fantastic. However if Walter feels they aren't good enough so be it, however it does question the policy of giving players trials and they are rarely getting deals with us, happens all too often at the moment.

I thought he looked decent at Bolton and ok at the World Cup. Didn't know he was linked with them, but I feel he would be a good squad player for us, probably used as a winger.
